Lack of download slips in with new vinyl records nowadays. Pretty much all records 10 years ago would come with a download code. Now it's non existent.

Russel Martin is working his magic at Leicester. 4-0 drubbing at home to Oxford today. The tiki-taka tosspot has got them playing his usual route 101 football, which is so ineffective in League 1. Oxford chucked balls over the top, defence were hapless, constantly caught off guard. Even at the kick off for the 2nd half they messed it up. Leicester kicked it back to a defender, who under pressure kicked the ball at another Leicester player. It ricocheted & Oxford were through to score, but missed a sitter. Football can be a cruel mistress when you've got a bad mixture of incompetent board and deluded manager. They spent £100m on a new training facility in 2020. One of the best in Europe, and they're getting battered in League One. Real reality check for them, and in their current setup there is no way of them getting out of this league this season. (Unless they get relegated!)

Heard on 5Live the other day. Councils, schools and public bodies are swamped with dealing with AI complaints from people's grievances. They've been written by AI and the "laws" these people quote are not even used in this country. Where previously it would be an A4 sheet and getting to the point of the complaint. AI churns out masses of pages of slop they have to navigate through, and it slows the whole process down.

Lawn took a battering from the heat. No rain for 45 days here and didn't bother with the hosepipe as it wouldn't touch the sides. Two big thunderstorms on Thursday & Saturday, has woken up the roots and the grass started growing again. There's also a lot more moisture in the air in the mornings which is helping the soil. Gave it a cut and looks ok. Still quite a few patches of dead grass to sort out but thats all the fun.
