Yep, just feeling a tad old after seeing that.
Remember it clearly and hoping WWF would do well by the brand, but knowing deep down it wasnât going to end well.

Love that main event. Thatâs enough to sell me on the PPV.
Any idea if theyâre going to have fans?
It will not, neither will the subsequent tapings.

Yet another great women's match, the booking of the division may still not be perfect but the in-ring action has been way up there recently with this tournament on both sides. I'm looking forward to Sundays show.
Was this show filmed in advance? There seemed to be a fair few cuts and edits during commentary, I noticed it most when Tony was talking about Paul Wight.

Â
AEW (usually) films live every other Wednesday and tapes the alternate weeks episode the following day. Like the old Monday Night RAW schedule of Mondays and Tuesdays (for the next week).

It was reported on PWInsider that the idea last year was to spin off this TNA stuff into a separate, revived brand and TV show.
The speculation within that article is that it may be happening this year.

In my opinion, heâs serviceable in the ring, and can keep up against the right opponent, who has their working boots on. But with him, itâs about the sizzle.Â
Good look, has swagger, charismatic, and can cut a good promo unprompted and unscripted-Â he better enjoy that while he can, by the way.Â

It's not looking promising is it. If Roman gets Edge then I'm hoping Cena's coming back, otherwise poor Drew's going to Midcard Mania. I'm the biggest Sheamus fan on the internet, but he doesn't belong in a Mania world title match. I like Lashley too, and they're protecting him for something, but it's been done already and his ship has sailed.
The use of the chamber this year is a really odd one. Seems destined to be some kind of swerve thrown in there. Brock? Wyatt?
Fucking Bray Wyatt ain't it.
I hope Iâm wrong (in fact, I probably am) but I groaned at how Shane McMahon condescended Adam Pearce and how he patted the WWE title on Drewâs shoulder.
If this week wasnât just a one-off appearance, Shane might become a more prominent part of the Wrestlemania season.

Having watched just a bit of RAW so far (glutton for punishment, I know) I hope Iâm wrong about who could be challenging Drew at Wrestlemania. Enough of their âsubtleâ hints/anvils have been dropped đ¤Śââď¸

If true, might be one to kept an eye out for:

I wonder (and this is just throwing things out there) if the quality of the product can be traced to a specific period of time other than (or in addition to)Â the expansion and move to USA Network to compete with AEW?
Such as the inclusion of âmain rosterâ creative personnel such as Brian James to NXT?

Continuing the spotting of pornstars on mainstream shows, Alexxa Vice appears as a stripper/dancer on the BBC banking drama Industry.Â
ÂThankfully she didnât have to say too much, as she doesnât have the âold bawdyâ charisma of Rebecca Moore and Sophie Anderson (as referenced a few pages back) đ¤Ł

Conspicuous by his absence is Trey Miguel. I wonder if his signing has been delayed or if heâs decided not to sign.
And with Anriel Howard might come comparisons with AEWâs Jade Cargill (black, former basketball player, attractive, etc) even though they are probably going to be presented very differently.Â

Itâs too late in the day for me to articulate it fully, but itâs likely heâll leave as well. Not all people follow their partners/spouses out of the door.

Going by how close they clearly are (as evidenced from the small amount I see of them online), Black is not long for the company. He was foundering, anyway.Â

Like many on here, my first clear introduction to the man was as Freddie Joe Floyd in WWF in 1996, and it certainly didnât leave a lasting impression.Â
It was only when I saw him in ECW, and got older that I became aware of who he was and his body of work, and then when I saw his Smoky Mountain Wrestling run, I fully appreciated how good he was. A true lesson in not letting WWE (or indeed one group) shape your view of someone.Iâve always appreciated in the last 20 years how selfless he was from the stories I heard and when even some of the most jaded, miserable or mean spirited people in wrestling (Taz, CM Punk, Jim Cornette, New Jack in shoot interviews) had nothing but good things to say about him, that is the measure of the man.
RIP Tracy Smothers.

I bet Impact put The Rock's video in their intro. I think they've already recapped it about a bazillion times on social media.
In one way it's incredible to see these guys happily getting involved in 2020. On the other hand it does show how utterly irrelevant and a non-entity Impact is now.
However - BFG was great I thought. Another solid show for them and they really do have an impressive roster who are just going out there and doing their best. Funnily enough they actually do deserve more eyes on the product these days.
This exactly. Iâve used this expression a few times before (hey, repetition is the mother of skill) but Impact is the Boy Who Cried Wolf of Pro Wrestling.
For years, Dixie Carter and others promised all sorts, and none of it came to pass, not even the most basic of pledges to produce a compelling product whilst operating within their means and in the black.
Under DâAmore and Callis, itâs finally happened, but very few are around to see it and even less care.
A shame, really.

Joey Janela is off tonightâs show. Exposure to the COVID-positive wrestler from the Indy show last week.
Sonny Kiss is his replacement against Kenny Omega.

Starting to wonder if NXT can get through a show without an injury these days.Â
Hollands initial reaction and the fact they tweeted out best wishes before he'd even left the arena makes me think its a bad one.Â
Broken/snapped ankle apparently. I havenât seen the incident in question and am in no rush to đł

Just watched the 2nd episode yesterday. Thunder Rosa and Priscilla Kelly had a good match I thought. I liked Kelly's attire. Just discovered that she's Darby Allin's Mrs.
Â
On a plus note, Powerrr will be returning soon. I've already took the survey.Â
Priscilla Kelly is quite the character (not always in a great way), getting there as a wrestler. Match was a good watch.
And she and Darby are in the process of getting a divorce.Â

The Rock is going to do a little induction video for Kenny Shamrock at Bound For Glory for the HOF. New boom period.
If nothing else, the change in title will drive traffic to this thread.Â
Also, what are the chances of the âE trying to meddle in this? -

Not really, but Moose was carrying the TNA belt around until EC3 stole it from him. Itâs strangely more compelling than it sounds.

While itâs at least a start, RevPro have an ongoing issue. No matter what they do, and however it goes, the immediate response from many people will continue to be:
âYes, but when are you going to stop booking Will Ospreay?â

Can someone explain what being the EST of WWE means? Eastern Standard Time? Estimated Shipping Time?
I feel like I might be answering a rhetorical question (based on the humorous speculation contained)Â đ but here goes:
âESTâ as the end of many words.
Eg. Strongest, fastest, toughest, meanest, etc
NWA is the best.
