Well, we're underway and what a sad sight Wayne Mardle just was. He had an absolute shocker. Not very often you see pros missing single numbers and going out of the board. He's been on a decline for a while but tonight was just dreadful for the bloke. Went out 3-0 to a relative unknown Artut for those who didn't see it.

 

Mardle's done after that at the highest level I'd have thought. When Artur kept missing those doubles for the match Mardle looked like he wasn't trying to hit them so the match would be over, before eventually going for it as it was dragging on.

The much-anticipated bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao is all but set for March 13, a source told Yahoo! Sports.

Mayweather has agreed to terms and promoter Bob Arum is making a trip to Manila, Philippines, to finalize a deal with Pacquiao, the source said.

BDO rejects Hearn's takeover bid

The head of the British Darts Organisation (BDO) has rebuffed a takeover bid from rival body the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC).

PDC chief Barry Hearn has offered
