The problem with JLA is they just haven't planned it. The Avengers was planned perfectly, and came together well. This just seems so rushed. Build a story into the films, Batman/Superman will both earn loads. A better Green Lantern can, so no need to make a quick buck.

David Earl is great. Chexk out Cumbo if you can on youtube.
Â
I still don't get why Gervais is doing that face. His 'oh it isn't offensive' is slightly ruined when he was doing exactly the same face on Twitter and calling it 'monging'
Â
In many ways it would have been better had someone else played the lead and he had just scripted it with a Merchant, who seems to be able to reign in some of Gervais' bloated moments.
Â
Pilkington is very good in it though.
-
The Hotel is pure brilliance. Such a simple concept that has kept bringing up moments of brilliance.
Â
Being Human back again last Sunday. Excellent as ever. It will be the last series of it. Whitehouse seems to be bound for the Who role very soon.

Brooker's a bit up his own arse at the moment. I still enjoy a lot of his stuff but he's coming across as incredibly smug and 'oooh aren't I clever'
-
They were great when they just replaced Shaun with a cardboard cut out of him

I once started a thing with a girl at work, was going well and then I found out she had shagged Abs a few years previous. I honestly couldn't handle that.
-
The planned JL film a few years ago had The Flash as the main character, with him saving the earth. Adam Brody was cast. He spoke about it on a podcast recently. Sounded an intriguing film, but a little too 'Young Batman'
-
Cage can still be brilliant. Bad Lieutenant being a recent example of his insanity being brilliant.
-
Waltz is superb isn't he? As is Samuel L Jackson who I can't believe hasn't been nominated for anything. His performance is just amazing and comes out of absolutely nowhere. Infact nobody is bad in this film.
-
Django Unchained WOW. Brilliant.
-
Really looking forward to Django.
Â
Spike Lee acting like a bellend over it as well.
-
No he doesn't thankfully.
-
I've seen that Scott. Its made by the same people as Rise iirc. Tamer Hassan is pretty good in it (he's goo in most things) but the film is bad.
Â
Didn't understand the hype myself. Very bleak in a dull way, if that makes sense.Â
Totally. It had potential for sure, but it was so bloody slow and made no real sense.
-
I watched Kill List a few days ago. I had heard a lot of good things about it, but found it a bit 'meh'. Maskell and Smiley are very good in it though.
Â
The ending is also stupid.

My brother got me the first season of Supernatural on DVD for Christmas, don't really know much about it other than it's about brothers hunting paranormal stuff, I'm certainly willing to give it a go, my brother loves it and he's pretty cool. Anyone watch it?
Â
It's made great by the guys playing the brothers. Especially Dean. I'ts a real fun show.

Of course. The BDO has the old school feel about it, and the crowd isn't full of wankers like a lot of the PDC crowds. Also always an open field so can be a lot more competetive and get a lot of good younf darts players in it. The standard can be shocking but you get some good games.
-
Season 4 is the best season of them all IMO mate. You're in for an absolute treat
-
Super Hans saved the series, he was the best thing about it. The first episode was great and the paintball one, but the rest, while having some top moments, weren't all that.
Â
Dobby def has run her course, she was good for 2 series where Mark was trying to get her and failing.
-
Boardwalk is amazing. This series has topped the last. Buscemi is really growing into that role as well.
-
The Walking Dead has jumped and become awesome. If you've given up on it I highly recomend watching Series 3.
-
The daughter is THE worst thing about the show.
-
Is it that terrible? It's the sort of film that I always hope will turn out to be great, but given who's directed it I guess that's wishful thinking.
Â
Ah Nick Love isn't a bad director. Goodbye Charlie Bright is cracking, his The Firm remake is good, FF and The Business are always watchable. He gets a bad press, seeminly because Danny Dyer was in a few of his films.
-
He was so unlucky with that injury. He was really getting ahead with the Invasion MVP stuff.

Manic Street Preacher's offer to record Wade Barrett's Theme Tune.

What have you been watching on (proper scripted) telly?

The idea was good, but with most of Brooker's stuff it is far too heavy handed and up its own arse.
