Well that was all brilliant. Bryan's kick to Triple H took me greatly be suprise as well. I love little moments like that. Triple H/Bryan could be something a bit special. Still think he's winning the title at Mania.
-
Ha yeah, he's been compared to Mickey simply because he's black. People really don't think do they?
Â
I remember Moffat saying that his kids hates two parters, they used to get annoyed with them so he decided to make them all 'Blockbusters' every week. I think it was in the run up to Series 7.
-
Also some of the ideas in the last series suffered from not being given time to breathe. I mean a 2 part Asylum Of The Daleks would have been awesome. Also the 'Nightmare In Silver' Gaiman episode really needed to be a 2 parter.
-
Possibly, but then given his age he might want a settled job for a few years. You could see it either way.
-
Being over has nothing to do with how you are booked. His reactions show the fans are still well into him. Not sure how that's anything controversial to say.
-
Undertaker v Lesnar is the biggest match.
No idea what they will do with Batista v Orton but if they want Bryan in there then they have to start presenting him a bit better. Right now he is nothing more than an annoying wee loser who gets what he wants by whining and moaning,
Â
Batisata/Orton is the Main Event, thus it'll be what the show will close with. Certainly the Lesnar/Taker match will be wonderful, but they will want a Main Event that is not totally shit on.
Â
I don't think it matters what they do with Bryan at the moment, he's the most over man in the company.
-
So what are they going to do with Orton/Batista? The logic is clearly adding Bryan, but they seem to not want to give him that spot. I can't see WWE giving their biggest Wrestlemania to a match which will be loudly shat on.
-
Of course but that wasn't what I was saying.
-
That was my point. I really like De Niro, I'm a big fan. But it's been rather painful to see him do some of these roles. He'll always be regarded as acting royalty, but in many ways his later roles may cause a huge BUT at the end of an appraisal of his work. I don't want that to be the case
-
De Niro will never be a "full on joke", regardless of what an average director like Russell can do for him.
Â
You have seen hsi recent output? His best performance for years was in Silver Linings, and he's good in his cameo on in American Hustle. I would say those two parts remind people that De Niro can still be excellent. Maybe I was harsh with 'full on joke' but his reputation has slightly suffered, and at the moment O Russel's films are the only ones he shows how good he is.
-
David O Russel seems to be the only person who is stopping De Niro from falling into full on joke.
-
Does it even tell you what the basic storyline is? I know it gives a rundown of characters and they have been arrested, but it doesn't tell you why.
Â
I can assume there are more in-depth trailers to come
Â
Nope and nor should it at this time. It's introducing the characters and getting people interested in it. Still a long way to go before release. Don't want to blow your load too soon.
-
I think because it's something very different. It looks totally mental.
-
Looks a really fun film. I have high hopes for it!
-
I agree. I thought it had some interesting ideas as well. The Oldman/Leaton dynamic is the best thing in the film, those two should get cast in something else together.
-
Robocop. The remake.
Deary, deary me. I wouldn't know where to start.
Â
I liked it
-
The connotation that it's a community of people on benefits? That's the whole point of the show
Â
Exactly. The whole point is not to show a 'community' it is is too jump on the Benefit Bashing Bandwagon that is present in out current climate. The fact they've put the word in the title means they know exactly what they're trying to do.
-
I can't wait for the new batsuit to be revealed, apparently it's grey which I'm really pleased with because since Tim Burton's first one 25 years ago every single one has been black rubber, definitely time for something different.
Â
Kevin Smith on his podcast said Snyder had shown him the batsuit and was saying how brilliant is was, he was hinting it at the Frank Miller grey i think.
-
I feel like the bell-ends complaining about it (both the "dolescum should be shot, dirty bastards" and the "it's all propaganda" types) haven't even seen it. It's a fun show, and very reminiscent of a lot of people I know or grew up around.
Â
That falls down when it is called BENEFITS STREET. Call it 'The Road' or anything. The conotations are obvious.
-
I would quite like Bryan Vs Triple H at Mania. Would be a Wrestlemania moment if Bryan won, and would then set him up strong to chase the belt again.
-
Looks brilliant IMO. A Doctor wearing Dr Martens is gonna be a winner
-
Undateables is TV gold.
Â
It's cruel and i question myself watching and laughing at it but i guess they signed up for it
Â
I don't know if it is cruel. I actually think the show is quite sympathetic towards them, and actually cares about the person as well as their issue.
-
He's said the only person who he knows it isn't is Tim Roth. A shame, with the names being mentioned it was quite exciting. He did say he might come back to it, but he's clearly upset about being let down on it. Interesting to see where he goes now.

Personally think he should stay away from the promos for a bit and just go on a mad tear up. Get Triple H on the mic slowly getting more and more pissed with Bryan.
