  1. With the Women's World Cup approaching, Sophie Bradley has featured on the Beebs Footie page

Something about her that reminds me of that girl at school that was fit, and if you played your cards right, you actually had a chance of getting your knob touched for the first time round smokers corner.

  2. Final episode was fantastic, as on a whole was the entire series. I sincerely hope he gets another, as well as getting some better recognition for the work he's done with that show.

  3. I've often wondered about Pearce in WWE. As much as I'd like to see him there, I'm just not sure he would 'fit'. He wrestles a predominantly 'WWE style', and that's what that match mostly is too, but is he maybe a bit too old school to get over these days? Maybe it was the same reason why Cabana never quite got the rub of the green?

Having said that, he cuts a marvellous promo and can do serious as well as comedy matches. He was also the best thing during that CZW v ROH feud. He's a good bloke.

I'm not sure Pearce would want to go to WWE, I think he actually enjoys himself too much on the Indy scene, I know that's why he turned down a WCW contract all those years ago.

  4. Screams set up to me, the one to cause the 'revenge' does too. Vids like this leading up to one that seriously goes wrong, IE another masked man that we never knew about entering shot would be a good viral for Scream 4

  5. Hogan was promoting one product and one product alone, the same product he's been promoting since the turn of the 90s, the product being Hogan.

Of course he was. They hired him. They didnt hire a bells and whistles media campagn with TNA on it.

He could've worn a TNA shirt at the minimum, but no, twas a Hogan shirt.

How do you know he could have? Logos and brand names are forbidden on reality shows and television shows in general, especially ones advertising products on a rival channel. He could have worn a "Bischoff Heavy Entertainment" shirt as well, considering it was through them that he got the gig. But, he your not allowed to.

A T-Shirt, now pause, breath, think of a humming bird, think of a dolphin, think of Ted Danson in the role of Sam Malone in Cheers, dismiss all ideas of bells, whistles and media campaigns with confetti flying and dancing girls prancing to Final Countdown by Europe, and then go back the point ... A T ... ... ... Shirt.

Product placement is banned, hence the shoddy yet VERY clever job of the Coca Cola glasses on previous seasons of American Idol.

A guest wrestler with a logo on shirt would not be, Christ look at the WWE talent appearances over the years, WWF/E can be found on them easily. To think a show of the magnitude of American Idol would even give two shits about TNA is laughable, their key demographic of school girls and housewives wouldn't even consider turning over to see Hogan on a different channel and the show would know that.

They'd made a joke of the whole concept of wrestling before the appearance anyways, they know to most it's seen as a joke.

To believe that it was through Bisch that Hogan got the gig is also redundant, think wrestling, think Hogan, his agent is a simple bi-product of that.

The simple fact is Hogan has money in TNA, a simple Tee could have easily been worn and AIdol wouldn't have given a fuck about it, that appearance serves as a physical manifestation of Hogan and his ideology of TNA, an ego trip to get him on telly. He has no inclination of getting that product over, just his ego.

I mean it's ridiculous to consider a different show on a different channel would ever be plugged isn't it?

Oh wait a mo, hasn't RAW and isn't Wrestlemania serving as an out and out commercial for an MTV show? I do believe it is!

Either way, the clip was decent. I loved the fact that black lass was so anti wrestling, but as soon as Hogan came out she popped like everyone else. Very disappointed that the 'fan' didn't do the Hall/Nash pointing when he was stood next to the big man.

  7. Kim Dickens, 45

Recently watched the first episode of Treme, which she was in. She was also Joanie Stubbs in Deadwood.

When I saw her in Treme, I did an imdb check to see where I recognised her from (Deadwood, natch) and was amazed that she is 45. She was fit as Joanie the madam and even manages to pull off the 'overwooked chef' look in Treme.

She was also belting as Sawyer's off island love interest/mother of his daughter in Lost.

A cracking TV actress indeed, and stunning!

  8. Just seen a review/promotion post on PWBTS.com for RW Animal's "The Road Warriors: Danger, Death and the Rush of Wrestling"

Being a huge LOD fan, I may get myself a copy of this.

Need to get hold of Jericho's new one, wrestling books seem to be my fave type of read as of late and this looks to be a cracker

  9. I haven't worn a watch in about 10 years. I use my phone to check the time these days. Am I missing out?

I never used to wear a watch, hated wearing them in fact, but as soon as I joined the police I sort of needed to, and now feel like something huge is missing if I'm not wearing one.

  10. My work watch:

    My going out watch:

Can't find my about the house doing nothing in particular watch online for a picture, but it's just a cheapish Nixon.

Have to say Nixon are easily my fave brand of watch, you can keep your couple of grand TAGs or Rolexs I prefer strange yet stylish design all day.

  11. Yet X ammount of time in, (as a race i tihnk the mayans didnt last that long), they either all killed each other, generally died out or got invaided and killed. So well done mayans, fucking well done.

Erm, the Mayan people are still around today, so even after the Spainish ran roughshod over them, yeah ... well done Mayans.

Im aware the are still on going, but from what i can see its not how it was when the mayans where a huge race. i think at best they never were a massive "race" of people, but correct in saying well done to them. Again one of the older mayan tribe members has also said its pure bollocks, yet nobody reports that do they?

Totally agree 2012 is pretty much bollocks, when I was over in Mexico on my honeymoon we did a tour of Chitchen Itza and our Mayan guide said how it was all bollocks and basically stupid US interpretation of their culture.

And with regard to their stature as a race, they weren't on the grand scheme of things a massive race, the fact Aztecs outnumbered them pretty much on their doorstep tells us that. They were however VERY intelligent and years ahead of most other cultures when it comes to mathematics and astronomy, ooh and architecture.

  13. For me my fave radio listening has to be the work of James Stannage. UKFFchat got me listening to him, and I'm sure Key 103's online listeners ratings must have spiked, around 04-05 before his firing he was fast becoming an online legend in the uk.

His vitriol and hatred to some callers was awesome, his political stance was a little off at times, but overall he was cracking! xx
