So... Is John Oliver going to go to Wrestlemania then?
We dont know yet. There's no clear path for him.

My brother lives in New Bedford, MA and we visited him last year. Took a day trip to NYC and pulled off just to take a look at the Headquarters, so I know all about feeling sad when reading its moving.Â

Mick Foley meets Sheffield United's Billy Sharp. But the highlight of his trip was clearly the free breakfast. Ponce.

It may not be to some of our tastes, but a HUGE portion of their audience use Twitter. What better way to fire up the feud than in front of a willing audience. Yes, many on Twitter are the very worst neckbeards going, but they suddenly (well - not that suddenly, its years old now) have a platform that they can use between shows to hype their product.Â
Becky is absolutely great at it though. She just gets it.Â

Yep. Watched it when I woke up at 5am and cried big old tears. Deserved every bit of that mega pop he got when he came out too. What a bloke.Â

Considering the writers loved a 'heres a normal thing and now its changed and the character struggles' trope, its a surprise they didnt take the genetic changes away to make him 'normal'.
But alas. Damar is awesome too by the way.Â

Yeah fuck The Orville. (I've never seen The Orville).
I've been flitting through episodes of DS9. Garak was badass. On a rewatch, Julian is even more annoying than usual, even when he reveals the cool super genes. Eugh. Ezri. Woof. That was a real jump the shark moment.Â

I think they've put the 'spore drive destroys the universe' bit into play and they'll pull the trigger later on. Likely when they need to make a very necessary jump and then can't. Either way, Im enjoying it.
It does irk me that they continue to make prequels though. Continue the damn story! The Picard thing will be good but even that is 20 years after everything else...

I've been inspired by Discovery to watch a bit of DS9. It really is superb. I'll quite happily put on record that Sisko is the best captain. He's ace.
-
Admittedly, if everyone in the audience are already wearing the same clothes as you, membership to the gang may sound quite underwhelming.

Well bugger me. Even with the rumours I didn't expect to read that today. Set my faces to stunned...

Super Mario is superb. Mario Kart obviously is a winner. 12-Switch my kids love but the games are very overpriced unless you are a piracy dude.Â
-
I'm well late to the party but got myself a Switch and have been engrossed in Zelda. Its so lovely.

Isn't he the bod from PWInsider.com?

Rendered me and my brother speechless. We were dumbfounded throughout the womens match that came afterwards as well. It genuinely even took us a few minutes to get into the Bryan match as well. Even when we both went to bed, I remember my brother turning to me and saying 'what happens now'. Madness. Utter madness.

My 'ring' of choice was the top of my mums tumble dryer, which was inexplicably placed in my sodding bedroom. The washing basket acted as my Hell in a Cell a good many times.Â
Â
EDIT: Which now I think of it, looked exactly like the TNA steel cage of weirdness from their live Monday show.

Too right. The fact that ive got a little girl who has no interest and has in particular said ‘wrestling is rubbish’ hurts me no end.
Â
But then - nephew gets to 6 and decides Shinsuke Nakamura is the daddy so off I trot to Toys R Us and I’m the hero uncle.
Childhood. It’s amazing. Now I’m just some fat old wrestling fan. *sigh*

If you've got a spare hour, this is an exceptional piece of writing about Cody and Dusty: https://www.theringer.com/2018/3/6/17072332/cody-rhodes-dusty-rhodes-all-in
I read this on the train and its a lovely piece of writing and made me really appreciate Cody's journey so far.

The Gargano/Ciampa storyline is just amazing storytelling too. NXT is so clever sometimes, it beggers belief that just the small things they do cant be replicated on the main roster.
The fact that Ciampa got injured has actually made him an even bigger heel. Wonderful.

The Goldust MMC match actually had me laughing out loud. Really enjoyable stuff.Â
-
Was anyone else perturbed by the camera angles this week? Really weird and made me feel a bit seasick!

Listened to the majority of it today and laughed out loud on the train a couple times. Quality!

It does look worrying. Seems to be after competing in the ring like on Raw after TLC and I know Angle wrestled on the European tour.Â
Nah Kurts been standing like that since he came back. He stands like I’ve given my CAW on Smackdown the wrong measurements....

Theres a torrent on XWT for anyone who is a member on there...

I think theres a lot to be said about the style of feedback thats immediately available these days. Twitter and the likes mean that people can give instant feedback on what they are seeing. Equally, typically, people are more engaged with giving negative feedback than positive feedback. So Twitter might be pissed off with the show, people on forums might be, but they are still selling out their big shows and coining it in. So they are doing something right.
