When the barriers are down, and creativity can flow, some truly engaging stuff is being allowed to surface. I’ve loved the 24/7 stuff so far. Much like the Mixed Tag Challenge. 

Which wrestling personality has exceeded in the dad-role? Who has been there, as well as on the road, and managed to raise fine, upstanding offspring? Vince? Dusty? Ric? Any nominees? 

I found myself enjoying NXT:UK far more than it’s brother/sister-brand this week. Fine matches, with solid finishes, no one looked out of place, and a few stand-out performances, especially Dragunov who looked ridiculously good, (must look out his pre-WWE stuff - any suggestions?). Main event was fun, and everything I could ask for. Go Team UK! 

If I hadn’t just watched a debut show, which highlighted a semi-methodical, old-school, story telling match between two brothers, and was lapped up by the crowd, I might agree with you. As with fashion, perhaps pro-wrestling will reinvent itself by rehashing the best bits of yesteryear, whilst combining it with what works well now; engaging, creative story-lines. Perhaps. 

I say, keep the title revolving around Truth, with brief hiatus’ here and there. Maybe build for the big Drake win at Mania. It’s a fugly belt, but fits the 24/7 soap opera perfectly, and, aside from NXT, remains the only WWE product I care about right now. 

I enjoyed the show, including bits and pieces of the pre-show. However, I am a little baffled by The Judas Effect. Is there some back story to this mild back-elbow, or am I missing something else? It's a terrible finisher!

Black Summer. Don’t waste your time. Abysmal once you get beyond the first episode or two. Nothing brave or creative, and - while I don’t need everything explained - the plot jumps are either lazy or the money simply ran out.

Plus, as we all know, regarding the DDT, the finest one was provided by Jimmy 'Jam' Garvin. 

I think his silvered quiff more than makes up for his lack of physique. I'd sell crack to children for that hair.

I saw 'The Nature of Forgetting' by Theatre Re at the Edinburgh Fringe last year, and I can highly recommend it should it appear near you. New tour dates are coming up I believe.

There’s a match between early Razor and El Matador from Superstars on the network, with Ramon sporting some gorgeous tights. It’s a perfectly worked match also, helped by a simpler crowd. 

I kinda like Sky Pirates.

I never quite understood the, 'That's not just the coolest; that's not just the best...' motto. It always sounded naff.

I'm trawling through Titans on Netflix. I'm at episode 4, and I don't yet know if I like it. Bits stand out, but it's a real plod thus far. Anyone else persevered? Should I?  

If WWE don’t do something big with Marcell Bartell, it’d be a huge waste of natural talent. Instantly dislikable, a clear character, as crisp and believable as a Regal, with the nastiness of a Dave Finley. Anything pre-WWE anyone would recommend me hunting down?
