Vertebreaker or however it was spelt, in line with what many here are saying about moves to the neck but this one always looked disgusting. Looking back I'm so glad Helms stopped using it in WWE.

The wife, (ex-wrestler) took one from Cheerleader Melissa many years ago, and has regretted it ever since. She had a mild concussion, and still feels some effects even now. I hate the move.

Be prepared that you're diving into an incredibly over-saturated market.  I must get half a dozen LinkedIn requests a week from VO artists.

    Thanks fella, fine advice.

  3. I'm considering taking up a new hobby, and I've always had something of an interest in voice over. I know a few people who make a living recording from home, one in particular does quite well, banging out VO for corporate videos, computer games and audio-books.

Anyone here had any experience in this, or have any tips for a rookie?

Aliyah signed in April 2015, in the same class as Apollo Crews among others, so has been in developmental now for over five years.

Some photos take longer to develop than others I guess?

He became 'Penance' following a tragedy where the New Warriors engaged a guy called Nitro, and 612 people died. He created this new suit, with 612 spikes. All the spikes are also inwards as well, since his new powers are pain-based. He also became a self-harmer later, in order to build up more power. I am not kidding.

He's recently reverted to Speedball and the New Warriors returned.

Yikes! Thanks loads fella. All very kinky, but quite interesting. I'll do some more digging. I'm still hoping the proposed NW TV series will appear. Thanks again!

  6. Just on the off chance someone is in the know:

I was a huge New Warriors fan some years ago, partly due to the theme, (kids in trouble/overcoming adversity) and partly because Speedball is my favorite character. I've just popped into a newly-opened comic shop nearby, grabbed a NW and Speedball is no longer to be seen. What happened to him?

That spider was clearly a very rare species - speaking for myself, I’ve never seen or heard of one like it. It might be the last of its kind. And Drew McIntyre just killed it. I know people don’t like spiders generally but that’s no act of a babyface. What did the spider ever do to anyone?

It's like Jake Roberts and Earthquake all over again...

  8. Finally got through the show. Mostly good, but that main event! The loss of Wolfe was a small stumbling block, but that was the rawest WWE match I’ve seen in some time, in a very good way. It was heated, realistic and hard-fought. It was wrestle-drama at its best! Loads of fun, and scary at times. KoR, Strong and Barthel are incredible. They all were! Fish’s Moonsault was stunning!

  9. Spirited Away is a good start if you just wish to be blown away. Same with Howl's Moving Castle. For pure magical enjoyment, you can't go wrong with Totoro, or Castle in the Sky. Or Grave of the Fireflies, should you wish to be scarred for life, in the best way possible. Maybe not as an entry into Ghibli though.

If you're crushing on some simple stories, beautifully presented, Marnie, Poppy Hill, Whisper of the Heart and the Wind Rises are splendid.

The only duds for me were Porco Rosso and Earthsea.

  10. Just sifting through a few plays, as I've been asked to direct something for next Autumn. I've been looking for something spooky, and found a nice one called, 'The Exorcism', by Don Taylor. If you're into that sort of thing, there's a good BBC radio play on YT, if you fancy an audio-spook.
