Does it really matter that I used Were instead of Where?I'm actually 27, not 30.
-
I know I had him off. I've voted for Mo, because of the big turn around in him. He was in Poster of the year last year, now he's in the dolts etc. Just goes to show you I could be nominated for poster of the year 2008 (doubt it though, you swines)Went for Tequila Boy, mainly because of many attempts to "zing" Mab, and blatantly achieving fuck all with it.
-
Neils not funny, is he just on the list because he's a mod?
-
Dissapointed with the nominations for this thread.

I'm not that bothered really, but I know that I contribute to the forums, hence people posting in alot of the threads.I've started loads of threads (o.k some were off topic and not to everyones taste i.e brookie and Kids tv legends, but my actual wrestling one's have led to some good discussions) click on my profile and check my topics out.EDIT:Why did the other Dolt of the year thread get closed?

Were am I on the list?
-
For fucksake I was only trying to help, I made it clear I wasn't sure, I was just guessing.

Think it's supposed to be that he's pointing up to his Uncle the Origional Sheik, a sign of respect to him.A quick question, why does Sabu point up during his entrance/as a taunt?
-
Vote JBL as guest ref. Good fun angle that did well to promote the main event and the choose a ref stipulation (seen as Austin and Foley didn't show up before hand)
-
The Hardyz at the beginning of the year.

I was only thinking of this match the other night, it was pretty much a 4 corners tag elimination match. Earl Hebner was the ref for this but he was kitted like an American Football referee (or whatever they're called...Umpire maybe?). This was back in the days when the refs normally wore a dicky bow and shirt, so it was unusual seeing him wearing that attire, think he had a whistle too (was this why they changed the refs attire?) Earl reminded me of John Anderson from Gladiators in this match. At the time I'm sure they made a big deal out of this match, I remember enjoying it alot. The way Yokozuna eliminated Owen Hart was good too. Yoko had went up for the banzai on one of the Gunn's whilst Owen held him down, another Gunn then pulled is partner out the way which resulted in Owen tripping up and recieving the banzai himself.does anyone remember a match on raw back in 1995 or 1996 it was a type of battle bowl but with tag teams. i seem to remember the teams having to wear diffrent colour jerseys or vest

Was he any good? Was it a trial run? Were was the King?He commented for the entire show on 2 or maybe 3 Raw's around that time, that was all.
-
Was HBK actually a proper commentator for a while (like JBL as been) or did he just do the odd match here and there?
-
Apparently WWE tried to re-sign him recently, but he didn't want to. I think we will see him in WWE again one day, he's still on good terms with them. If WWE ever do a Raw from Japan (I'm sure they did a year or two ago) I'm sure Tajiri would show up.
Ummmm...No. He wrestles full time for Hustle and has appeared for countless other Japanese promotions since moving back, as well as the odd spot elsewhere. He continues to work a full schedule from what I can see.EDIT - In fact, he wrestled Fujinami in MUGA yesterday. He occasionally pops up on HUSTLE shows, from what I remember. Apart from that, he appears to be out of wrestling.
-
Well I didn't want to say it was fact because I've got no evidence, I've just heard it on the grapevine. So as Santino or someone stated this?
-
Well I heard the rumour.Not a rumour!
-
It's rumoured that Santino Marrella's name is also a tribute to them.
Who was Gorilla Monsoons son.
Joey Marella. Died on July 4, 1994.What was the name of the WWF referee who died in the early 90s? I think he died from a car accident but I cannot remember his name.

I'm sure I seen them do it, infact they might of tried and failed the move in one of the late 2000 ppvs.
The version seen in that clip is from their debut match on Heat against The Mean Street Posse.
That looked quite a good move the Lou Thez-Frog Splash connection. I'm sure I recall them doing the frog splash finish with a hurricana off the top rope set up though, it may have even been on their debut on Heat.
Their original version was Mosh hitting his finisher the 'Mosh Pit' off the turnbuckle rather than a suplex and D-Lo would again, immediatly follow with his frog splash. I'm pretty sure it was called 'The Mosh Pit' anyway and was pretty much a Lou Thesz Press off the turnbuckle. Mosh missed it one week and from then on a suplex was used instead.Lo Down's version of the fantastic Power and Glory Powerplex finisher (being hit on Jobber Doug Basham).Powerplex

Not that I recall, no.
Didn't they start using that move with an hurricanna off the top rope before the splash?Lo Down's version of the fantastic Power and Glory Powerplex finisher (being hit on Jobber Doug Basham).Powerplex

Didn't they start using that move with an hurricanna off the top rope before the splash? Lo Down did seem to have potential at first, before they were changed into a joke and muslims. I'm sure they got together on an episode of HeAT as well.Lo Down's version of the fantastic Power and Glory Powerplex finisher (being hit on Jobber Doug Basham).Powerplex

Is that the same "kat" that used to be on Sky 1?

So I'm squeaky clean then?
You don't get to see it. In general, if you've had a PM from a moderator that says "Warning" then you have a "strike".
Do you know yourself what your warning level is? I can't see one on my account? I've been suspended last week, so does that mean I've had a strike? There is a warning system already. You just don't see it.
