  1. What were the pink bands a few people were wearing at Bound For Glory?

    Breast Cancer awareness month?

Cheers mate, thought it may have been that due to AJ's tight having the pink Breast Cancer Awareness logo on. I thought Foley had a pair of pink socks on at first when I seen his around his ankle.

  2. Wheras last year I came a bit too close than desired, i'm feeling pretty confident this year that my doltishness has been surpassed by lightyears.

Keeno, Mab, Hemme, Steven19902009 or whatever his name is, Feelthesuspensions just to name a handful.

You writing this may backfire in your face, as people may be more determined to put you on the list now you think you shouldn't.

Also from what Neil said I think becoming this years Dolt may be a more severe punishment than what I received this year (maybe a banning??)

  3. Why don't you stop being a pleb and just give him the answer if you know?

I'm not sure but I think it's just due to it not getting changed for BST....so it will be correct next month when the clocks go back.

I wouldn't be so quick to defend the guy, Mab. He's taking a lot of the shine for Dolt of the Year from you. I'm sure being on the other side of the abuse would be nice for a change, wouldn't it?

Regardless of what idiotic response you clamber together, I was directing Pleb to the correct place to answer his question. I am not insulting him because he got this wrong, I am insulting him because his other posts have shown him to be a bit of a tool.

It just annoys me when people get on their high horse going on about it shouldn't be posted here or whatever.....when they're just drawing out the post instead of just giving a straight forward answer. I'm sure if you would have not posted that someone would have come along and answered his question regardless. Anyway his question has been answered now so forget it.

Who are you anyway? From the response you gave you must be an older poster with a new name (and you could just answer instead of calling me a pleb and posting a link to a new name thread ;) )

  4. Has a Hardcore Title Defense ever main evented a show?

I think Big Show defended the Hardcore title in a triple threat match against Rock & Angle after No Way Out 2001 (although it could of quite easily been a WWF Championship match under hardcore rules). There's also the possibilty that Undertaker may have defended the title in the main event when he was Hardcore Champion.

I'm fairly certain I remember a Jeff Hardy vs Undertaker match for the Hardcore title main eventing an episode of Smackdown (I think it may have been a rematch from a PPV a few nights before if that helps).

I don't think they've ever fought on PPV. But as mentioned before when Undertaker had the Hardcore Title they did put more prestige to the title, so it's likely he defended it in a main event.

  6. I nearly had sex with Alexandra Fletcher. Alas I called her Jacqui one too many times and my chances were over.

How did you "nearly" shag her? Either you did or you didn't. Nearly don't come into it. Even if you were getting on well with her, doesn't mean you were going to shag her.

Wow, I'm surprised that didn't take your head off.

    Huh?

    Oh, Fuck off.

    Huh?

  8. Enjoyed Plus One on Channel 4 last night, pretty funny. Seen the lead actor in something else before on bbc 3 I think, set in Blackpool which was quite dark so interesting to see him play a full on comedy part.

Lovin Only Fools and Horses on GOLD :) , I didn't really watch it a lot first time around apart from the Xmas specials.

I think you are talking about Funland, which was a rather dark series from a few years back.

I haven't seen Plus One, but I have seen the lead actor in the advert for it. He was also in a dark drama last year on Channel 4. It was a court case, he was acting infront of a real life jury, it was a rape case and the jury had to decide what happened. Did anyone see this? It was good and interesting with the jury.

  9. Trying too hard to not look bothered by being nominated. Personally, I find you quite funny at times and in fairness you are probably just getting into the spirit but it does come across (to me at least) like you are forcing the point that you aren't bothered to the extent that it gives the impression that you are.

Well obviously i'm a bit disappointed for being up for Dolt (not so much the other two) as from now on I won't be taken seriously or anything, but i'm really just doing this all in spirit. It's more "spud in the shitarse" reaction than a "Mab up for dolt of the year and tries to pretend he's not bothered, ending in a massive breakdown" reaction. I'm just trying to get in on the jokes, seeing as they're about me it's the least I can do.

Why keep on mentioning me when talking about yourself being up for Dolt? I haven't mentioned me being up, because I excpected it anyway and because the more you mention it you are arsed (see me last year).

  10. I went with HBK vs Jericho, an excellent feud. The way it progressed from the HBK-Flair-Batista feud and carried on for months with out getting stale was also good. I agree with Dopper above that Mayweather smacking Big Show was a great angle, and it came 2nd for me, but what did you prefer Mayweather smacking Big Show or Jericho smacking Rebecca?

  11. I voted for Kofi Kingston, I find him enjoyable and he has had a good start off year and got over well. I was tempted to choose Mike Adamle just for the sheer car crash tv appeal he had, and I did quite like him as GM. The type of GM who just doesn't get things, but wants to do well and please everyone, heel or face.

  12. Nulled my vote, because I can't decide who's the shittest out of all of them because I mainly fast forward most of there matches and only watch abit of ECW and TNA. The Great Khali although a shit wrestler is really entertaining in my opinion, more so for his car crash tv appeal, but I don't mind this comedy esque route he is going down now, and he is getting over so didnt wan't to vote for him.

Is this award based on actual wrestling ability, or the full package? Because I wasn't sure I didn't vote for Henry or Koslov.

  13. Jeff Hardy, just for his sheer "over-ness". I was thinking of voting for HBK after his feud with Jericho (my vote for best heel), but I'm getting abit fed up of his puppy dog eye'd upset routine thing he's been doing throughout the year.

  14. I was going to null my vote for this award, simply because the tag team division is shit nowadays and the PTB don't seem arsed about it (I'm not familar with indys or Uk scene though). I still think tag team divisions could work well with WWE if they cared about it. I did end up voting for Miz & Morrison because they work really well together and have got star appeal. But just looking at that list WWE-wise shows how dire there tag division is. 3 teams, one team have only teamed together for a few months during the summer/ early autumn, the other team are a couple and have only had a few intergender tag matches.

  15. Got to be Jericho for me. As I mentioned in the Worst Match Thread is Save Us Campaign resulted in abit of an anti-climax and fizzled out, but after his tweener turn to heel turn he as just been perfect. I think the reason why, is because his heelish antics do make sense. I remember reading once (Foleys book maybe) that a good heel works when the heel wrestler believes in what he is doing, it is justified, i.e he's not just doing heelish things for the sake of being heel. Jericho as found something (the fans being hypcritical) and gone with it and been justified.
