What is your favourite or favourite AEW PPV(s)? Below is a list of the top 20 based on CageMatch ratings, just for a refresher. 

If asked this question on any given day, without research, I'd always say Revolution 2020. I think the Page & Hangman vs. Young Bucks match might be the best in the company's history. Loved Moxley winning the belt from Jericho. Just generally a big-time show in front of an awesome crowd and a brilliant time for the company, pre-pandemic.

It’s a strange one, as I struggle to remember what happened on which PPV these days. I don’t know if it’s a symptom of me getting older, or simply the fact that pretty much every AEW PPV is excellent, meaning that it becomes hard for any one show in particular to stand out - but it’s hard to name a favourite for that reason.

That said, I’d probably go with Revolution 2020 for the same reason as you - Hangman/Omega vs The Bucks is one of my favourite ever matches; everything about it was incredible.

Double or Nothing 2021 will always be a special one for me.

First big show with fans for nearly 18 months, after so long seeing Dailys place empty it was amazing to see it full, and the crowd were amazing.

I remember there was talk of if Hangman  had cooled off without the fans allowed in arenas and would people still be rooting for him like they were pre pandemic and then he opens the PPV and gets a monster reaction. So much so he seemed slightly taken aback with it.  It was like it was confirmation that no, Hangman is still our guy and still the one we want to be champion. 

Big Tarzan boy singalong when Jungle boy won a battle royal, the amazing 3 way for the world title with Orange Cassidy, Pac and Omega, Sting having a proper wrestling match and looking great and possibly my favourite moment of the night, the Moxley and Eddie Kingston entrance. Just an all timer of a moment. 

So yeah it might not be the actual best PPV they've done, there was the usual awful Codyverse shite on the show too unfortunately , but I think it's probably my favourite.

The year will be 2041 and I'll still be waiting for Moxley and Kingston to reunite and win them tag belts.
