The contenders: DANIEL BRYAN To win the WWE Title, Bryan broke bad. And if you don't agree, you're fickle! Fickle! Fickle! THE MIZ The perennial heel (except when he's cheered), this year finally saw then-babyface Bryan take on his oldest rival. SAMOA JOE Joe moved to Smackers this year and spent months agitating WWE Champion AJ Styles, but came short of winning the title from him. SHAYNA BASZLER She started the year by snapping Dakota Kai's arm, and only became more of a bully from there.
