We just wanted a nice solid bold word, we threw a few things back and forth, but GOOD just worked for us. There was an acronym but we're not that fond of it! Firstly a roster announcement... What can we say about Doug Williams that hasn't been said before? A 20+ year veteran and near-legendary representative for British wrestling for 2 decades? One of the most decorated British wrestlers of all time? Holder of gold up and down the UK, as well as some of the biggest wrestling organisations in the world, including New Japan, ROH, NOAH and TNA? All of this true. But Doug Williams is also, right now, one of the most technically gifted wrestlers in the world, and is also, right now, set to be big part of GOOD Wrestling's first show. We are incredibly proud to be able to play host to Doug Williams and extremely excited to see what he has planned for us. Secondly... Our first match announcement... When we started announcing the line up for our first show 2 weeks ago, the first name released just had to be STIXX, a man who embodies the intensity and hard working spirit of the British wrestling scene. Within hours of this announcement we received a number of messages from CHRIS TYLER telling us exactly what he thinks about Stixx as a veteran, and making it quite clear that he sees Stixx as a trophy to be won. The ever confident Tyler asked outright to face Stixx in our first show, as he continues to build his name as one of the hottest young talents in the country, with little respect for the men and women that have trod the path before him. PANDA CUB vs NIXON NEWELL!It has been quite the experience bringing a lot of the top talent in the country together for GOOD ONE, and this is one of the more unique matches on the card. PANDA CUB and NIXON NEWELL are 2 of the top rising stars in UK wrestling today, putting on fantastic performances each and every night out. We are super excited to bring together these to amazing performers and cannot wait to see what they bring. Secondly, Good Towers (or whatever you'd want to call it?!) received some very interesting contact this week... DARRELL ALLEN! Darrell has been bending and twisting limbs for some time now, and his reputation as a top notch grappler precedes him. 'The Dazzler' has really developed an attitude of superiority over the past few years, and is looking at GOOD Wrestling as a new stage to enforce his will on new opponents. At this time we don't have an opponent ready for Darrell, but he has stated that he will take on anyone we can put in front of him and take them to school. Prepare yourselves for the sheer grossness as our final match is... DARRELL ALLEN vs JACK SEXSMITH Ever since Darrell Allen laid out his challenge to anyone thinking they could out-wrestle The Dazzler we have been frantically trying to find a suitable challenger. As you may have spotted on our event page, we started to receive some very suspect correspondence. Suspicion was rife over who was responsible for the dirty tissues and packs of condoms, though it could really only have been one man. Jack Sexsmith is the morally dubious Soho resident who has been making some very moist waves in his short career. Having been initially reluctant Allen ultimately accepted Sexsmith's advances, and here it is, the final match signed for GOOD One. So that's the full lineup for Good One! goodwrestling Posted January 30, 2016 Author Share Posted January 30, 2016 RESULTS : GOOD ONE @ Craufurd Arms 29/01/2016A standing room only crowd was in attendance at The Craufurd Arms to witness the debut show for GOOD WRESTLING as we kick off the year with "Good One"...STIXX vs CHRIS TYLERAfter a grueling match, the cocky but talented CHRIS TYLER defeated the veteran, the heavyweight House of Pain STIXX to warm up a brilliant Milton Keynes crowd.TERRY ISIT & CY GREGORY vs THE LONDON RIOTSAfter Rob Lynch came out alone, he dressed down Terry Isit before Cy Gregory turned on him to form THE MK RIOTS for the evening, Rob challenged Terry to find a partner after the next match.PANDA CUB vs NIXON NEWELLThe best womans wrestler in the UK today NIXON NEWELL defeated PANDA CUB in a wonderful back and forth match which ended in a show of respect between the two talents.THE MK RIOTS vs TERRY ISIT & DANNY JONESAt the end of a brilliant match which saw a lot of action in the crowd, THE MK RIOTS took the victory when CY GREGORY pinned his original partner TERRY ISIT after ROB LYNCH hit a brutal spear.DARRELL ALLEN vs JACK SEXSMITHThe sexiest man in Soho JACK SEXSMITH got the win over his mentor DARRELL ALLEN when Mr Cocko was applied and Darrell got DQ'd after kicking Jack in the dick. After the match, Darrell tied Jack up in the Allen Key and challenged the crowd to a fight.PASTOR WILLIAM EAVER vs THE WILD BOARThe Pastor tried to convert the crowd (aswell as swell his coffers) and tried to find salvation for THE WILD BOAR, his salvation was found after Boar defeated PASTOR WILLIAM EAVER.JOSEPH CONNERS vs DOUG WILLIAMSIn a fantastic hard hitting match, The Ambassador DOUG WILLIAMS stood tall over The Righteous JOSEPH CONNERS in the main event of the evening.We will be returning to THE CRAUFURD ARMS for our second show "2 GOOD 2 GLORIOUS" on 29th April 2016 and hope to see you there!
