AlternativeWrestling Posted August 18, 2014 Author Share Posted August 18, 2014 Match #1 - 'King Of Old School' Steve Corino vs 'Messiah' Brandon Thomas w/Violet Vendetta Upon hearing of Steve Corino's arrival in AWW, Violet Vendetta was straight on the phone demanding that her man - Brandon Thomas be the man to take him on. The 'Messiah' of AWW has had a torrid time since losing the AWW British Championship last May. In fact, Brandon never got a rematch against the current champion 'Wonderkid' Jonny Storm, and he sees this as a sure fire way of getting back in the title hunt! Former ECW World Champion - Corino is no ones stepping stone though. Brandon Thomas may well be the 'Messiah', but there's only one 'King' Of Old School'! AlternativeWrestling Posted August 31, 2014 Author Share Posted August 31, 2014 AWW British Title Match - 'Wonderkid' Jonny Storm vs 'Showstealer' Nathan CruzSince debuting in AWW, the 'Showstealer' has pushed Ring Of Honor star Jay Lethal to his absolute limit, and also beat New Japan's Hiromu Takahashi.He now gets a shot at the AWW British Title when he goes up against Jonny Storm.The 'Wonderkid' has been one of the UK's best for years now, and in some ways he sees a little of himself in the younger Cruz.Jonny has all the experience, but Nathan is hungry for stardom and is out to weather the storm and put the gold around his waist!
