How is it a 'unique brand of wrestling'?

There are subtle differences between us and other brands and its something the more 'Wrestling fan' side of our audience have picked up on. They've mentioned it to us and the moniker's stuck. It makes good Marketing speak too.

So LA Austin gets squashed by Cyanide, doesnt wrestle the next show, then he gets a championship match??? I'm sorry mate, but that just doesn't make sense...

First it's great you follow whats happening with us, and I'm sure that it is a bit of a '???' moment reading that. Justification wise for us - it's a different venue and we don't expect many people to be there that understand the happenings in Great Bear as you obviously do. It won't be filmed for DVD (Sandbach is effectively where 'storylines' will happen) its a match purely for the enjoyment of the crowd on the night. Hope that helps some.

Not trying to be negative here but unless you're All Star running complete opposite ends of the country can you really do a "these are house shows, these are main shows" type deal and not expect to have a decent segment of your fans confused? Even about 80% WWE's house show cards follow storylines from the main shows.

agreed with the above, you need to review your product mate. I don't doubt that Austin vs. Leigh will be a great match, but I still question the logic of the championship being on the line, and there is a chance with both venues being close, that wou will get a number of fans who follow Great Bear.

Cheers both for your thoughts, we understand where you're coming from, but we feel this is something that will work. At the end of the day we seem to be pulling in a decent casual crowd at present and we don't think it'll affect their enjoyment. We don't want to go too much deeper into our reasoning otherwise we run the risk of entering Alex Shane territory - and we don't want that.

shame this show is isnt being recorded for dvd as there are a couple of quality looking matches, if you run more 'house show' type events maybe a best of dvd at the end of the year, so that we still get to see these matches ?

We'll be recording with a single static cam and uploading any 'must see' matches onto YouTube, Best of DVD is something we've thought about.
