'PBW will kick back into gear this September after a near 3 month summer break and what a show we are planning. On Friday 21st September we will once again return to one of our favourite towns when we return to the recently refurbished Alloa Town Hall for our second Alloa show of 2012.

We can now announce that two huge matches have been signed, the first is a match that we hinted at some weeks ago on our facebook page www.facebook.com/pbwwrestling. We can no confirm that Welsh cruiserweight sensation and a recent 'One To Watch' in Fighting Spirit Magazine 'The Lightning Kid' Mark Andrews will return to PBW to take on Liam Thomson who fans are fully aware is the number one contender to the PBW title. Both men are on top of their game and this is sure to be a match of the night contender. Add to that that Thomson will have his manager Carmel at ringside and things could get very interesting indeed.

We can also now reveal that Alloa Town Hall will see not only the PBW debut but the Scottish Wrestling debut of The Dunne Brothers(Damian & Pete Dunne). The Dunne Brothers have been gaining a lot of attention in their home country of England with a string of strong displays in recent months including a number of tag team title runs. Add to that appearances in Spain, Poland, Ireland plus more and its easy to see why they have caught the attention of PBW management and been handed a match in Alloa. With this in mind though, PBW management have decided to test The Dunne Brothers on their Scottish debut by putting them against two of the fastest rising stars in the UK today. On Friday 21st September The Dunne Brothers will face none other than 'Unstoppable' Andy Wild & Noam Dar in what should be a fantastic tag team contest featuring 4 of Britains top young talents.

'We can now announce that a third match has been added to what is already turning into a stacked card for our return to the Alloa Town Hall this September. Fife's own Drew Marshall will once again step into the ring for his second appearance in Alloa Town Hall this year after beating one of Scotland's finest in the form of Andy Wild this past January. This time around however Marshall will have a much bigger challenge on his hands when he steps into the ring with a man that many are saying will be the next Scottish star to sign with WWE, one of the most dominant forces in Scottish wrestling today. On Friday 21st September at the Alloa Town Hall Drew Marshall will take on none other than Jack Jester.

Aswell as this huge singles match we also have the other two matches that were announced 2 weeks ago. The card so far is as follows...

Taken from pbwwrestling.com'This Friday we return to the Alloa Town Hall for another night of top quality wrestling action. Already announced are 5 huge matches and as promised we are about to announce the sixth and final match for the card. Before that though it is with regret that we announce that Joey Star will no longer be able to appear on the event. Upon hearing the news Charles Boddington was quick to inform PBW management that he had a ready replacement for BT Gunn in the form of Scottish heavyweight TJ Rage. PBW management agreed that this is a suitable replacement and the match has now been confirmed for this Friday night, BT Gunn will defend his PBW title against TJ Rage. Also just confirmed is a match that will see the two most popular tag teams in PBW today come face to face with the tag titles on the line as the popular young team of Blaze & Rampage will challenge Lionheart and Wolfgang. All four men are on the top of their game and this match alone has the potential to steal the show this Friday night. Tickets are selling very well folks but the good news is if you dont have the chance to make it down to the Alloa library to purchase tickets in advance, tickets will be available when the doors open at 7.00pm on Friday night. 'Friday night saw us kick back into gear after our summer break with a top quality show delivered in the Alloa Town Hall. Perhaps not as busy as previous shows in Alloa but with it being a bank holiday weekend it was to be expected. Saying that though the 140 fans that did turn out created by far the best atmosphere we have had in Alloa Town Hall to date.

KING OF CRUSIERS 2012 ANNOUNCED

As promised on our Facebook page - www.facebook.com/pbwwrestling we can today announce all 6 wrestlers who will be entered into this years King Of Crusiers. Over the last 5 years KOC has became an annual showcase of the very best British and Irish cruiserweight wrestlers with past winners such as El Ligero, Bubblegum, Liam Thomson and just last year young Scottish starlet Stevie Xavier. It truely is a match where these athletes can showcase their speed and ability and as Noam Dar has proved it can be used as a huge stepping stone for any young Scottish wrestler determined to crack the European wrestling scene. It was King Of Crusiers 2009 where Dar entered a star making performance, one that caught the eye of many of Britains top promoters. Since that match Dar has gone on to become one of the highest regarded young talents in Europe if not the world today.

We are very excited about this years KOC match with 3 of the wrestlers making their first ever KOC appearance, not to mention a very special PBW homecoming. The 6 wrestlers that will battle it out in this years KOC matchup are as follows....

1 - STEVIE XAVIER - Last years winner Stevie Xavier returns to the Magnum Centre this year to defend his crown. Last year Xavier outlasted 5 other top athletes and even after injuring his arm near the end he was still able to climb to the top and deliver a stunning 360 splash on NOAH star Zack Sabre Jr to pickup the win. Xavier has promised us he is has been training harder than ever and is ready to become only the second ever wrestler to win KOC 2 years running.

2 - BUBBLEGUM - Thats right folks, one of the most popular PBW stars of all time make his return to Scotland. Bubblegum was with PBW from our very first show, from 2006 through to 2009 he was one of if not the most popular PBW star on the roster aswell as one of the most gifted performers ever to arrive in Scotland. Along with Brad Fusion he was crowned as one half of the first ever PBW tag team champions in Octonber 2006, he is also the only man in history to win KOC not once but twice outlasting 5 other men 2 years in a row when he took the trophy in 2008 and 2009. It wasnt long after his KOC 2009 victory that Bubblegum informed PBW management that he was taking time away from wrestling to spend more time with his newly born son. February 2010 saw Bubblegum pin Darkside and then an emotional roster empty onto the stage in Greenock to pay tribute to one of PBW's finest. It may have only took over 2 and a half years but this November, Bubblegum returns and looks to win the KOC trophy for an impressive third time.

3 - SEAN MAXER - Irish star Sean Maxer makes his first appearance in KOC this November after spending the summer competing in Japan alongside PBW star Joe Coffey for the highly acclaimed Zero 1 promotion. Maxer is easily regarded as one of the finest crusierweight stars in Ireland today having been trained by none other than NJPW star Prince Devitt and International star Paul Tracey. Maxers last appearance at PBW was at Breaking Limits 6 where he pinned Andy Wild in the opening match in a solid encounter. As Maxer looks to earn a regular spot on the PBW roster a win at Maximum Impact 2012 and more importantly winning KOC 2012 would be a sure fire way of doing just that.

4 - NOAM DAR - What else can you say about Noam Dar, he arrived into 2012 on fine form and has taken 2012 by the scruff of the neck and made it his. Breakout star really doesnt do the man justice as at only 19 years old he has well and truely arrived on the world scene. This year alone Dar has came up against the very best wrestlers in the world today such as AJ Styles, Davey Richards, Prince Devitt, Eddie Edwards, Sami Callihan in a number of different promotions up and down the country. He has been attracting attention from 'big companies' all over the world and we are thrilled to have him in KOC 2012. With Dar now a former PBW tag team champion, a King Of Crusiers victory has to be something he wants to add to his collection and he has all the tools to do so on November 3rd.

5 - SCOTT MAVERICK - Although still fairly new to the Scottish Wrestling scene. Scott Maverick has had a fantastic 12 month run which has seen him rewarded by being granted a spot on KOC 2012. In the past 12 months Maverick has became a regular on the Scottish scene, completed a full season on the holiday camp circuit for All Star Wrestling, competed across England for a number of promotions and even made his debut in Denmark for Danish Pro Wrestling. He has came up against top name such as US indie star Drew Gulluk, TNA star Doug Williams, top British stars such as Robbie Dynamite, Lionheart, Micky Whiplash and Mark Haskins. PBW owner and Academy trainer Ross Watson/Kid Fite recently said 'Maverick gave himself to wrestling, he was at training every week travelling to Glasgow from Ayr. He just absorbed everything like a sponge. I was impressed enough to have him out on the All Star summer run where again he impressed everyone involved. That is why I have rewarded him with a spot in this years KOC matchup as there is no better place to showcase his progress and the skills he has learned over the summer.' Every year it seems one PBW Academy student is given the chance to raise their game by being entered into KOC, Dar(2009) has since gone on to become one of the most in demand wrestlers in the country, Rampage(2010) as we write this he a current PBW tag team champion alongside Davey Blaze, Xavier(2011) last year saw wildcard Xavier outlast everyone and pull of one of the biggest upsets in Maximum Impact history by winning KOC 2011. This year Maverick has the chance to make his Impact and let Scottish wrestling know that he has arrived.

6 - MARTIN KIRBY - One half of Englands's top tag team today, Kirby has became one of the few English stars to travel north of the border for PBW on a semi regular basis. His cocky attitude and his believe that English wrestlers are far superior to their Scottish counterparts has angered both the roster and the PBW fans. Kirby though has done enough though to be entered in this years KOC matchup after a string of solid displays across England over the last 12 months including a spectacular match with International star El Generico in Newcastle last year. Kirby has sent a message to the PBW fans saying that he plans on winning the match and taking the trophy back to England, there will be no flips or fancy moves from him. He will do what is needed to be done to win on the night, simple as that.

As November 3rd gets closer and closer the anticipation is getting higher and higher for PBW's biggest event of 2012. With a spectacular King Of Cruisers match already announced plus the PBW debut of Grado its shaping up to be an action packed fun filled night. As promised PBW management are going all out to ensure this is our very best show yet and with it set to be taped for DVD release, we want it to have the very best wrestlers having the very best matches possible. With this in mind we can now announce that the third match to be announced for Maximum Impact 2012 will see one of the greatest PBW stars of all time take on one of the biggest stars in England today when Lionheart takes on Kris Travis.

At our Alloa show this past September, Lionheart shocked the Alloa crowd into silence by announcing he will walk away from wrestling at the end of 2012 as he has other passions in life he wants to pursue. This sadly means that Lionheart will only be wrestling on two more PBW events and we are very lucky to have him on board for Maximum Impact 2012. PBW owner Ross Watson recently had a heart to heart with Lionheart and agreed that the fans deserve to see him at his very best before he has to go and it is a huge credit to Kris Travis that Lionheart requested the match with him at Maximum Impact 2012.

Travis is no stranger to PBW or Lionheart as part of the tag team Project Ego with partner Martin Kirby, Travis has became a regular in not just PBW but Scottish wrestling in general in recent years and has featured in some fantastic matches up here. It was the match he had with Lionheart at Preston City Wrestling though that got everyone talking with many fans down south claiming it was their choice for match of the year. Dont for one second though think that Travis will be doing Lionheart any favours as a big win here could push him towards a PBW title shot later in the year or early 2013.

Taking all of the above into account pbwwrestling.com firmly believes that Lionheart and Kris Travis has the potential to be one of the very best matches ever to take place in Scotland.

November 3rd - Magnum Centre, Irvine - Maximum Impact 2012 - Get along and witness a fantatsic night of wrestling and support one of Scotland's greatest ever wrestlers as he begins his final journey home.

Sometimes when promoting wrestling shows you just put on a match for no other reason that it will be awesome due to the talent involved and that is exactly what we have done for the main event of this years Maximum Impact. The main event will be a 4 man ladder match featuring PBW Champion BT Gunn who will be putting his title on the line against James Scott, Jack Jester and Mickey Whiplash. All 4 men have had a fantastic 2012 and are easily considered 4 of the very best in Europe today. Add to the mix a few ladders and you have all the contents for a spectacular main event that will surely have the PBW fans in Irvine on the edge of their seats.

With Maximum Impact 2012 now just over one week away things are heating up and they just got a whole lot hotter. The two most in demand female wrestlers in Scotland today have signed on the dotted line to appear at Maximum Impact 2012 and they are set for a very interesting match. The match will see Kay Lee Ray team up with Mexican sensation El Ligero and take on Carmel who will be teaming with Liam Thomson. Fans may remember that Liam Thomson is in fact the number one contender for the PBW title. Thomson has already let his feelings been known to PBW management regarding the main event and that he feels he should be in it. PBW management have reminded Liam Thomson that although he is number one contender they have the power to decide when he gets his title shot and have decided to go for the 4 man ladder match at Irvine due to it being our biggest show of the year.

Title matches aside the mixed tag team contest just announced has 4 of the very best in the UK today and with the potential for the girls to come into physical contact with the guys this would could get very serious, very quickly.

We can now announce the final two matches for Maximum Impact 2012.

The Coffey Brothers vs Grado & JD Bravo

545532_10151147410104775_1269746851_n.jpg

Grado has being creating a buzz with everything he does recently including his 'training seminar' at the PBW Academy for which footage emerged of Grado making trainees dance and overall just have a right carry on. It was that video that angered The Coffey Brothers(Mark & Joe) to the extent where they have now issued a challenge to Grado 'and his new pet JD Bravo' for Maximum Impact 2012. The Coffey Brothers have been making big waves in Scottish wrestling this year with Joe also taken part in his first tour of Japan for the Zero 1 promotion. Both men take their craft very seriously and have promised to make short work Grado & Bravo. Perhaps though the power that is Gradomania shouldnt be underestimated so much.

PBW TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH - Blaze & Rampage vs TJ Rage & Red Lightning with Charles Boddington

14286_10151147438334775_1335028426_n.jpg

Blaze and Rampage just this past September done what many fans had been predicting for some months when they won the PBW tag team titles in Alloa. Fast forward just over one month and Maximum Impact 2012 is here and the new tag team champions will be making their first title defence. Waiting for them in Irvine though will be the dangerous combination of Scottish veteran Red Lightning and powerhouse TJ Rage who will both be accompanied by 'The Manager Of Champions' Charles Boddington. This is sure to be a hard hitting affair and with Boddington at ringside, anything could happen on the night.
