Night 1 - October 28th 2011 Angel Centre Tonbridge Kent Doors open - 18.30 First Bell - 19.00 Where better to kick things off than in Hammerlocks backyard of Kent and we're returning to a venue that was once a hotspot for visting talent. The Angel Centre has been visted in the past by such names as Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart, Jake 'The Snake' Roberts and now you can add Adam Pearce to that list. He'll be defending against the number one contender Danny Garnell who after his recent big win over Colt Cabana is looking to bag the gold. The show will play host to much more including the Hammerlock original Zack Sabre Jnr returning after his successful recent tour of Japan to take on his former trainer and mentor Jon Ryan. Paul Essex
I remember seeing Steve Corino defend the title over here about 10 years ago.
Paid Members neil's bitch Posted September 30, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted September 30, 2011 Was going to mention that, Steve corino Defended agaisnt Gary Steel in a TLC match during an NWA UK show i believe, and not only that a "unofficial" title change happend when gary sort of won by mistake. He then defended the title around the UK. Corino was given the title back at some point. Thats not to take anything away from Gary who was an official NWA World heavyweight champion back in the day. Â Other than that, the New NWA UK has been great so far. Is the current NWA UK title, the same title/belt used previously all those years ago? I remeber it travelling up to SWA at some point. Â Edit: Also Whilst Adam pearce is here, get him to vacate the NWA UK Commonwealth title that he holds, as its a cracking looking belt.....and its an NWA UK title i believe. Truth
Odds are not in Danny Garnell's favour: Night 2 will see the second defence of Adam Pearce's world title when he faces the returning Zack Sabre Jnr. Can Zack step up to the challenge and overcome the weight difference or will Adam's experience prove too much for the rising star. Could this be the first NWA World title change to happen on UK soil? Couldn't night 1 be the first NWA World title change to happen on UK soil?
