CorpRobinson
Can someone possibly help a friend of mine out please they have loads and loads of old skool movies that they have taken from vhs and placed on there HD and was wondering what cable they need as they have heard is required to stream them from the HD in there laptop to the television if its possible ? Â Any help would be appreciated, where to get one from etc which is the best
KFR42
It depends on what connections they have on the laptop/tv really. Does the laptop have hdmi out? Does his TV have hdmi? If not does his TV have a VGA port? If his TV has neither you can probably forget about this idea. S video is a possibility, but the quality will be attrocious and again it depends if the laptop has it.

King Pitcos
HDMI is the only real option. Any HD or HD-ready TV has an HDMI port, but the laptop might not. Â Other than that, your alternative is to buy a media player like this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005ERNITE
CorpRobinson
It looks like the laptop has a S Video socket with the S and a TV logo on the laptop so i can only assume ?
King Pitcos
I've never used S-video from a laptop, but yeah, that should work as well. Try either of these: Â http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronic...11|prd:17470611 Â http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronic...urlrefer=search
