King Pitcos Posted May 9, 2011 Share Posted May 9, 2011 I've never had to change phone provider or ISP before, but the girlfriend wants to. At the moment, the phone line is BT and the ISP is Be. She wants me to change both to O2. What's the process for going about this? I know I'll need to get a MAC code from Be, which is easily done via their website, and I don't think I have to pay a fee to cancel the contract because O2 owns Be anyway. What do I do when I get the MAC code? Â For the phoneline, I haven't a clue. Do I just phone O2 and they take over the line? Are there any costs involved in switching providers?
