IWF
Saturday 28th May 2011 - IWF End Of An Era A show that was originally promised to be this year's Northern Rumble has now become something far more special as it will truly mark the End Of An Era within the IWF. The IWF has recently come under new ownership and, as a result, will be going on a break until a relaunch in September with the Anniversary show. End Of An Era marks the final night under the old leadership and indeed, the final night for a number of our longest-standing competitors. Do not miss out on what is truly going to be a unique and memorable night as old rivalries will be settled and at least one new champion is guaranteed to be crowned. Adam Young
Go North East's Blaydon Racers branded services 49/49A/49B stop outside of the Teams club and are accessable from either Gateshead Metro Interchange, or the Metrocentre Interchange if travelling from there. I've posted the links to the bus timetable/route maps below. They are in a pdf format.  http://www.simplygo.com/download/publication/21620.82 - Route Map.  http://www.simplygo.com/download/publication/24886.68 - Timetable  Alternatively, you could get the 43/44/45/46 from Eldon Square Bus Concourse or Central Station in Newcastle City Centre, and get off on Askew Road West. From there, you have to walk under through a subway to the venue.  Map of area: http://maps.google.com/maps?num=100&hl...sa=N&tab=wl  Map and Timetables for 43/44: http://www.simplygo.com/our-services/the-diamond - and 45/46: http://www.simplygo.com/our-services/the-red-kite  Personally, I would go for the first option. IWF
Who will we be saying goodbye to exactly? Â Unfortunately, at this time, that information is between the individuals in question and the IWF as nothing has been finalised. Those individuals who wish to do so, may reveal themselves on the night and say a farewell to the IWF fans.
IWF
Shocking announcement regarding IWF End Of An Era:  Despite the injuries suffered at the previous IWF show two months ago, Katsu has decided he wants to perform one last time AGAINST MEDICAL ADVICE. As such the following change has been made:  Lewis 'The Dragon' Chambers vs 'The Rank Outsider' Robbie Ryder vs Katsu  A match that had the potential to steal the show just got a whole lot more unpredictable. These three guys could easily lay claim to being the Top 3 IWF wrestlers never to hold the IWF Championship but all three are former North East Champions who are incredibly popular with IWF fans for their high-risk offensive style. With concerns regarding the well-being of Katsu, it's very possible it will be his final match with the IWF and with speculation already mounting as to who may be leaving, you do not want to miss what may very well be the final hurrah for these three men.
