Smegma Cake
Cutting to the chase, will a 17inch MacbookPro battery work in a 15inch Macbook Pro? Â My battery has totally died and I've got one coming my way for nothing, but its a battery for a 17inch Macbook Pro. I'm worried that it won't fit and/or it won't work if it does. I've tried google but to no avail. Â Anyone know?

Smegma Cake
Cheers bud, I hope so. Hopefully someone else can shed some more detailed light on it for me though, or someone who's done the exact same thing.

Tom Zenk
The power adapters are different so I would assume this is the case with the batteries as well.
Smegma Cake
This says not. Â Â Ah, blunt is best. Hopefully this is proved wrong, I think the fact my Macbook is dated pre 2006 (They changed them at some point) and its not an official Apple battery. Â I know the chargers are the same, regardless of the size of the screen which is why I'm holding out hope its the same for the battery.
