Paid Members Chris B Posted April 27, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted April 27, 2011 Was thinking of starting up a podcast and just wondered if anyone has had any experience doing so or if they know of anyone who has one running or has run them in the past?  Any tips or advice would be excellent  If you're podcasting with someone else, and you're in separate locations, use Skype. All you need is an MP3 recorder (just google mp3 skype recorder free to find a decent one), and that'll record your conversation.  There's a free sound editing program called Audacity - it'll take a bit of playing around with to get used to, but it pays dividends. It'll let you (relatively easily) remove background noise, coughs, people talking over each other and add music etc. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy.  Then just find somewhere to host it, and Bob's your uncle.
