Paid Members Surf Digby Posted February 7, 2011 Paid Members Posted February 7, 2011 I did the camps and steam rallies wth Brian three years on the run. I learned a lot, and have a lot of really great memories from those times, with low ceilings, outdoor shows on slopes, Sheppey love triangles and watching Sid Cooper matches with him. He had a wicked prankster streak in him, and his wife could be just as bad. Poor old Squeaky. Â And no matter who he was talking about, could describe absolutely everyone with the phrase,"Don't get me wrong, he was a smashing bloke, but a right cunt!"
Gossy Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Sorry to hear that, thoughts to his family and friends.
xXxRavenxXx Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 God rest his soul. Â Brian Manelli was the first promoter to pay me for a bout. He was a decent man, gave me some good advice.
chriswyld Posted February 26, 2011 Posted February 26, 2011 So sad and thoughts go out to his family. Â Had a huge influence on many people in the business and more than most would know.. All about the "Showmanship". Â RIP Brian
