Didnt there contracts also state that essentially that no new guys could earn more than them. Think Big Show says something to that effect on the Rise and Fall of WCW doc

Yeah, when Bret Hart was signed they immediately received pay rises because nobody other than Hogan could earn more than them.

They had "favoured-nation" clauses in their contracts, but they generously waived that right when Bret came on board. (Had they asked that the clause be honoured, they'd have been looking at $3m per year apiece.)

Flair should have loved it. WCW made him 100%.

According to his comments on the Monday Night War DVD, Flair HATED WCW.

Are you sure you're not incorrectly applying his comments that it was a happy day when it closed and that it needed to be shut down to his entire duration there? He hated what it had become from 97 onwards, but let's be clear that he loved his earlier times there, messiness with Jim Herd aside.

Not sure if this counts but i know regal said he loved working for WCW back in the day.

When he won the WCW TV Title, (which meant you might wreslte alot in one day), he said he loved it, but from what id heard most others who actual cared that much.......hated WCW as it held them all back.

Bar that im guessing guys like Hogan/Nash Loved WCW.
