Lonestar
I was just looking on youtube at matches from the past and came across Jake Roberts v Ricky Steamboat in a Snake Pit Match, I'd never seen this match before but more so I knew nothing of they show called the Big Event held in Toronto, Canada in 1986.  The card for the show was....   The Killer Bees vs. Jimmy Jack Funk & Dory Funk Jr. (w/Jimmy Hart)  King Tonga vs. Don Muraco (w/Mr. Fuji)  Ted Arcidi vs. Tony Garea  Junkyard Dog vs. Adrian Adonis (w/Jimmy Hart)  "The Rebel" Dick Slater vs. "Iron" Mike Sharpe  Super Machine, Big Machine & Captain Lou Albano (w/Giant Machine) vs. King Kong Bundy, Big John Studd & Bobby Heenan  Ricky Steamboat vs. Jake Roberts
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted January 14, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted January 14, 2011 Look at the main event and you'll see why it drew over 60,000. Orndorff and Hogan did monster business during that period, and the matches were usually great as well. Orndorff and Hogan werent holding back on each other. Stiff as fuck. They also had a famous cage match on Saturday Nights Main Event which debuted the "double winner" which WWF/WWE has used loads of times since.
