  1. Recently I have seen:

The Last Airbender - Do not watch this movie at any cost it is absolutely awful, worst film of the year and we are only in July. Hideous.

Knight & Day - Fun enough as long as you can endure Tom Cruise for the best part of 2 hours.

Step Up 3-D - Really, really bad, however the dance sequences especially the one at the end are amazing to watch or as some kid said on the way out of the screening 'That was totaly sic dude, totally off the chain' whatever that means.

More excitingly I am seeing The Expendables on Tuesday night.

  2. If anyone wants to see some potentially spoilerific pictures from The Big Bang then HERE YOU GO These are from the rather excellent Doctorwhotv website.

<-- click on 'spoiler' to show/hide the spoiler

So the theory is that the doctor remains in the Pandorica for around 2000 years when amy as a little child or Amelia enters a museum and releases him somehow. THis may also trigger off some form of parrallel time lines and we may get to find out why Amelia became Amy. Also it has been noted that while on set filming the Doctor was seen in top hat and tails as if he had 'just attended a wedding'

  3. I met the cast of Prince of Persia the other week for interviews:

Jake Gyllenhaal - Very nice guy doesn't take himself too seriously stopped to take pics with us press folk

Gemma Arteton - Wonderful absolutely down to earth and loverly. Also from my town (Gravesend) which had her fist bumping me in the middle of the interview

Mike Newell (Director) - Total Luvvie hilarious but long winded

Jordan Mechner (Creator of the Game) - Nervous has a stammer and total geek. But in a nice way

Jerry Bruckhiemer (Producer) - Legend. That is all

Sir Ben Kingsley - Brilliant, brilliant interview, if I was ever doing PR for anything Sir Ben would be the man I would want to promote it. Would have you beleive that Prince of Persia is a sweeping Shakesperean epic. likend the film at various parts of the interview to a 'broad canvas with many colours and brush strokes' dancing and even opera. Also, stopped for pics with the journos.

  4. Both really. I've not read many good things about it.

That's a shame because I think the trailer looked promising. That said I was kind of expecting this to get slated since Englund was the perfect Freddy. I'd just gonna hope the slatings have been over harsh on that basis, rather than treating the film on its own merits.

I didn't think it was that bad... OK so it's not the original, but Haley's Kruger is downright sinister...

predators. Actually looks fucking awesome. Arnie unfortunately will not be in it, nor Karl Weathers or Jesse Ventura or even aa little Bill Duke, but Fishburne is and thats alright by me. Cant wait to watch this

Well being as Carl Weathers, Jesse Ventura and Bill Dukes characters all died in the first film hardly a surprise is it? With Arnie now being the Governator these days, he was highly unlikely to do it either. I'm slightly more interested in this now Robert Rodriguez is involved, but still on the basis of the last couple of films I'm not holding my breath.

  6. I was always more into Sepultura, especially after seeing them at Donnington Monsters of Rock with Pantera, Dog Eat Dog (Whatever happened to them?), Extreme?!?! and Aerosmith Headlining, if I remeber right I think Fear Factory were on the bill and Skin (Wonder what happened to all of them after the split, although I preferred their incarnation as Jagged Edge) and Biohazard (Getting the power turned off as they invited everyone onto the stage) on the second stage. Good times.
