Been watching all sorts lately...
Â
Just finished the Fall - all a bit meh with far too many plot holes
Â
2 episodes into the Knick now, good so far. Owen's brilliant.Â
Â
Tried Jay Barachel's latest Man Seeking Woman - not for me.
Togetherness however is awesome, just realised its on Sky Atlantic too.
Â
New series of Its Always Sunny is much better than the last and Broad City is on form too.Â
Â
Gave up on Girls too (up to date on Sky) - can't stand Dunham anymore.
Â
Quite a few into Party Down and still undecided, I like Scott and Marino in other things so want it to step up a notch - does it?
Â
Errrrrrm think thats about it!
Â
Anyone seen the latest Episodes series or Backstrom yet?

How are you watching through Apple tv? I'm using AirPlay through my phone until the Apple TV app is sortedÂ
Depends what device you use. I use Apple TV and I've had a few events spoiled for me, but a few people earlier in this thread have used different devices and haven't encountered any spoilers.I'm planning to watch the Rumble the night after it's aired. Is there any chance of any spoilers whilst on the WWE network page?
Go into the Apple TV settings and change your iTunes Store location to United States. You won't need a VPN or anything, the app will just appear on the homepage then.
Â
Â
Appreciate this thanks!

Â
Need a need show after the Killing (currently S2 of original version) any other fans? Really into it

Bet 365 are doing the free £50 inplay (guaranteed profit) today for Liverpool/Arsenal...
Â
for those inclined (stolen from here)
Â
Small profit (guaranteed)
Pre match - place a £50 bet on Liverpool double chance (win or draw)
Inplay - bet £50 on Arsenal to win
Liverpool win = you gain £25 profit
Arsenal win = you gain £35 profit
Small - medium profit (guaranteed)
Pre match - place a £50 bet on Liverpool/Arsenal double chance
Inplay - bet £50 on Draw
Liverpool or Arsenal win = you gain £14.50 profit
If the game ends a draw = you gain £130 profit
Zero to high profit (not guaranteed but what I will be doing).Â
Pre match - Place £5 on 0-0 (separate with a different bookie)
Pre match - Place £50 on over 0.5 goals
Inplay - You then have £50 to put on anything. You can go as risky as you like (correct score, first scorer ect). I'll use Arsenal 2-1 win as an example.Â
Arsenal win 2-1 = you gain £548 profit
0-0 = you gain £5 profitÂ
At least 1 goal but not your 'risky bet' = £5 loss
I'd recommend using another bookie for the 0-0 (NOT BET365). Simply because you are rinsing them for guaranteed profit and if your 'risky bet' comes in, it will be for a decent amount. Â
For the 0-0 £5 bet, why not use a bet £5 get £20 free offer (get £25 of bets for £5!!). Here's a couple you can take advantage of...

came across barbershopwindow.com (thanks to random news thread) and wondered where else does cool/different wrestling tees?
Â
Any with reasonable postage to UK?

So I'm five episodes into The Leftovers, and I'm just as nonplussed as I was at the start. Is it going to start getting good at any point, or can I give up on it now?
Â
Â
Â
We held on and it steps up a bit but hardly. Start of episode 5 seemed unnecessary in the grand scheme too. Doubt we'll watch series 2 on the back of it.Â
Â
7 episodes into the original Killing, enjoying it.Â
Â
Anybody see Glue on E4 or the Knick? I've recorded both but not watched either yet. Also got The Affair to watch (McNulty from the Wire) so any feedback on that would be appreciated.Â
-
Never seen that middle rope forward flip that Kalisto did, which was nice.
Â
Worst thing for me is Neville and his measly little kicks, come across so weak and pointless. Even Zayn struggled to sell a light kick to the shin.
Â
Will NXT ever tour? Be good to see live
-
just finished watching the Bridge (Original version), thought it was class. Anyone into it?
Â
Either House of Cards, the Americans or True Detective next. Heard nothing but good stuff about HOC and TD, anyone recommending the Americans?
Â
Orange is the new black went down hill, got about 3 episodes to watch. Just one of those which isn't laugh out loud funny, and not a lot happens but wanting to finish the series now.
-
Community?
Â
The League?
Â
Arrested Development?
Â
Freaks and Geeks is very good, but it was cancelled so doesn't hae many episodes.
Â
Sorry missed off Community which I watched and gave up on after S3, seen all of AD too.
Â
Freaks and Geeks and Curb will be next methinks, cheers!

seems to be an annual post of mine, but need a new comedy to watch as caught up with It's Always Sunny...
Â
Â
Criteria: US based 30 min or under
Â
already seen The Office, 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, Californication, Entourage, Modern Family...
Â
Currently watching Eastbound and Down, Childrens Hospital, Trailer Park Boys...
Â
Wasn't into New Girl or Happy Endings...
Â
Errrrm is there anything in the same sorta vibe? Is Freaks and Geeks worth a shout? Curb?
-
Just finished Jerichos 2nd, although not as good as his first, still a great read.
Â
Having already read Brets, Foleys 1st, Rocks, Austin's, Eddys and Jerichos 1st, I'm thinking Holly's or Foleys 2nd next?
Â
Which is better?
-
netlix's twitter confirmed 9am tomorrow, wonder if there's a way to stream it tonight...?
-
Â
At least they saved the best for last, although I still laugh at the first one.
Â
Love stuff like this, like the scarface reference earlier in the thread. Where do people post these?
-
im trying to track down a powerslam issue from years back (potentially '98), came with an A5 pullout and had Sunny in a pink and white cheerleaders outfit?
Â
Any ideas?
Issue 57. Just had a look through my lot. Has Steve Austin on the cover and the Sunny picture was in the Women of Wrestling pullout.
Â
Class, thanks for that!
-
Jesus Christ, why can't you just wank over internet porn like everyone else?
Â
the research, waiting period etc adds to it all. None of this lazy 1 minute browse and blast!

just started Southland series 2, improved on a great S1. Plus Sucre from Prison Break just joined the party
-
loads of shows not picked up for for next seasons, nothing major that I was watching though apart from Southland which i've just started.
Â
Vegas was balls on sky 1, Up All Night had its moments but when Applegate left there was nowhere it could go. Gave up on Touch too, far too boring.
Â
-
Arrested Development is class, you've timed it well before the 3rd series at the end of May too.
Â
Thanks Dirty Eddie, seen it mentioned on MetaCritic etc so will give it a go.
Â
Still not convinced on Justified, I've seen the first 4/5 episodes but its very slow, worth sticking at?
-
The Shield's my favourite TV series ever, I love how tense it is, I'll definitely watch it all the way through again at some point. Forrest Whittaker's character was so hateable.
Â
Yeh he was great at playing the twat, loved Glenn Close and Anthony Anderson's roles too
-
Just finished the Shield, well worth a watch if anyone is considering it. SPOILER - Highlight the black box to read
wanted Ronnie to kick the balls out of Mackie at the end
Â
Â
Need a new show (non comedy) to watch if anyone can recommend?
Â
Already seen Sopranos, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Lost, Prison Break, Homeland, 24, Heroes, Damages, Nip/Tuck
Not into Deadwood, Game of Thrones, Six Feet Under
Currently watching with the Mrs (very slowly): the Wire/Mad Men
Â
going to watch 3rd season of the Walking Dead, then thinking Justified or Sons of Anarchy?
-
I like Workaholics. It kind of like season 1 of Always Sunny but i don't think the first season is anywhere near as good as the rest so it could be difficult to get into.
Â
New Girl is great but it could be a bit similar to Happy Endings.
Â
Will check out Workaholics. I saw a fair amount of New Girl but again a bit meh. Pretty much watched it as Dechanel is the one.
Â
Â
Children's Hospital and Workaholics?Â
EDIT: Archer and Party Down
Â
Saw about 4/5 episodes of Archer but gave up. Will give Party Down another go in fact as watched it too long ago. Big Adam Scott fan too so hopefully better 2nd time round.
Â
Trailer Park Boys might be something you'd enjoy adequate, reminds me alot of It's Always Sunny at times.Â
Not heard of it but will check it out, thanks!
Â
Trailer Park Boys might be something you'd enjoy adequate, reminds me alot of It's Always Sunny at times.I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this. I recommended it to someone at a party recently saying the exact same thing. They're not similar at all, in the slightest, but there's something about the comedy and over all feel that make them reminiscent of each other.
Â
And to the guy who asked the question, I thought Episodes was great, particularly the second series.
Â
Definitely gonna try Episodes too. Looking like that and Modern Family for the next two.
Â
Thanks everyone!
What have you been watching on (proper scripted) telly?
