Been watching all sorts lately...

Just finished the Fall - all a bit meh with far too many plot holes

2 episodes into the Knick now, good so far. Owen's brilliant. 

Tried Jay Barachel's latest Man Seeking Woman - not for me.

Togetherness however is awesome, just realised its on Sky Atlantic too.

New series of Its Always Sunny is much better than the last and Broad City is on form too. 

Gave up on Girls too (up to date on Sky) - can't stand Dunham anymore.

Quite a few into Party Down and still undecided, I like Scott and Marino in other things so want it to step up a notch - does it?

Go into the Apple TV settings and change your iTunes Store location to United States. You won't need a VPN or anything, the app will just appear on the homepage then.

So I'm five episodes into The Leftovers, and I'm just as nonplussed as I was at the start. Is it going to start getting good at any point, or can I give up on it now?

 

 

We held on and it steps up a bit but hardly. Start of episode 5 seemed unnecessary in the grand scheme too. Doubt we'll watch series 2 on the back of it. 

7 episodes into the original Killing, enjoying it. 

Anybody see Glue on E4 or the Knick? I've recorded both but not watched either yet. Also got The Affair to watch (McNulty from the Wire) so any feedback on that would be appreciated. 

Never seen that middle rope forward flip that Kalisto did, which was nice.

Worst thing for me is Neville and his measly little kicks, come across so weak and pointless. Even Zayn struggled to sell a light kick to the shin.

just started Southland series 2, improved on a great S1. Plus Sucre from Prison Break just joined the party

loads of shows not picked up for for next seasons, nothing major that I was watching though apart from Southland which i've just started.

Vegas was balls on sky 1, Up All Night had its moments but when Applegate left there was nowhere it could go. Gave up on Touch too, far too boring.

The Shield's my favourite TV series ever, I love how tense it is, I'll definitely watch it all the way through again at some point. Forrest Whittaker's character was so hateable.

Yeh he was great at playing the twat, loved Glenn Close and Anthony Anderson's roles too

I like Workaholics. It kind of like season 1 of Always Sunny but i don't think the first season is anywhere near as good as the rest so it could be difficult to get into.

 

New Girl is great but it could be a bit similar to Happy Endings.

Will check out Workaholics. I saw a fair amount of New Girl but again a bit meh. Pretty much watched it as Dechanel is the one.

Saw about 4/5 episodes of Archer but gave up. Will give Party Down another go in fact as watched it too long ago. Big Adam Scott fan too so hopefully better 2nd time round.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this. I recommended it to someone at a party recently saying the exact same thing. They're not similar at all, in the slightest, but there's something about the comedy and over all feel that make them reminiscent of each other.

 

And to the guy who asked the question, I thought Episodes was great, particularly the second series.

Definitely gonna try Episodes too. Looking like that and Modern Family for the next two.
