Mustafa Ali came across a lot better in nxt that he did in CWC for me though.

Dexter peaked at Season 4 with the trinity killer. There were some great moments in season 5 and 6 but it definitely was on a decline since 4.

Maybe the Dan Matha build with the vignettes was all just to help build into the Joe story. That's what I thought right away. The vignettes looked fairly cheap and generic, not very committed to a guy who, while 6'8 looks extremely bland and has a weird spotty body. It would have seemed quite uncharacteristically low-rent of NXT to give this guy this monster push.

yeh i thought the exact same, his entrance graphics/music mustve been the worst in a while too - not up to scratch with previous pushes.

i jumped the gun a bit with Apple TV 4, I've managed to get Kodi on it but none the wizards work with 17 (Krypton) and I read today you cant get 16 (Jarvis) on ATV4.

Still got my fire box for now and will keep an eye out to see when the developers move forward with Apple TV 4.

Will play around tonight to see if I can just install addons as opposed to wizards/builds and see

All this talk about Kodi and football and film streams has got me interested. I've never really looked into it before but have read through most of this thread so have a basic understanding.

 

Whats the best way to get started? Obviously I need an android player but is it best to buy a Amazon Fire TV box (as I read the sticks don't have the processing power) or is there another box people would recommend?

 

Is it then just a case of following some of the guides above and on YouTube to get Kodi onto it and then get the various add ons?

 

I would only be looking to use it for football/UFC streams and possibly films but already have Netflix and Amazon Prime subs and they are both viewable on my TV through my Xbox One so not sure if a Amazon Fire Box is more than I need (as I wouldn't use Prime, iPlayer or anything like that through it)

I had a stick and then upgraded to the fire box simply because it has a network point and I hardwired into the router - the sticks fine otherwise though (as long as your internet speeds up to scratch?)

yeh youtube/how to's via google are all over the shop, really easy to do.

Double check you can actually put Kodi on whichever Apple TV you're looking to buy beforehand, because you can't jailbreak a lot of them which is required to install Kodi. I've got an Apple TV 3 and I can't jailbreak that.

yeh they've found a way with Apple TV 4, will report back once my USB A to C cable is delivered and I have a go

Booking Eric Young is surely a good thing, helping him develop the guys coming through in NXT, much like Aries is clearly doing. They're not pinning their hopes on either becoming the next big thing or super worker. They're good hands to help with developmental.

The Frank POV episode was the worst they've ever done, still rest of the season decent. Just got renewed for 3 more seasons too

Saw that the June venues were announced, is the echo arena massive?! Blackpool was class but worried it won't be anywhere near as good in a huge arena

I can only vouch for Amazon Fire tv box which works a treat, pretty sure a bunch of those android boxes will do the job though

I did cancel sky sports about 3 months ago for kodi/the beast and haven't regretted it since. I kept sky for recording freeview/Atlantic etc and for SSN.

The new kodi 16 and beast 1.6 had a few top addons for sky sports which is the only thing I use it for. It also has Spector/velocity/exodus for tv and film but I still tend to stream via Beamer.

For BT sports, I stream via iPhone and Apple TV so that's never an issue.

I do have to fiddle about a bit more now as opposed to just pressing 402 (or is it 401?) like I used to but it's saving me £50 a month

Read earlier that WWE are looking to bring NXT back over here in June.

 

Approached an arena that is the home of "one of the UKs top indy promotions" apparentlt as well.

 

Oh and theyre looking to do another Takeover here but not in London this time
