  1. I hope the Knicks prove me wrong but we'll probably end up with Melo, Rose, Noah and Gordon (if he signs) only playing like 20 games together due to injury.

Bill Simmons ripped the Knicks on Any GIven Wednesday this week and talked about how they have this knack for signing guys to ridiculous deals once they're past it. I'm a huge Knicks fan, but sadly it's pretty spot on.

I'm off work today, so I'm sitting with ESPN Radio on. I wish we could watch the US channel here. BT Sport's version misses out so much.

  2. - Batum agrees to new five year, 120 million deal with the Hornets.

    - Drummond likely re-upping with Detroit for five years, 130 mil.

    - Portland have offered Chandler Parsons a four year deal.

    - Jordan Clarkson re-ups with the Lakers

    - DeMar Derozan agrees new deal with Toronto for 5 years, 139 mil.

Knicks apparently targeting Eric Gordon. Jesus, it's like we're trying to put together the most injury prone team possible. What happened to chasing Courtney Lee? I'm scared...Knicks gonna Knick.

  3. The fact that the Wizards never even got a meeting with Durant is incredible, when you think about all the work they've done over the years to put themselves in a position to sign him.

Here's a cool NBA Transactions tracker from ESPN: http://espn.go.com/nba/transactions

And an NBA Free Agency Tracker too: http://www.nba.com/freeagents/2016/

The NBA reddit also has a cool all in one tracker, if you prefer it there: https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/4pbxqi/2016_nba_free_agent_tracker/

Regarding Dwight, I could see him ending up in Dallas. Either that or the Knicks are going to be the Knicks and overpay him...

  4. Where does this whole KD situation leave the Wizards now? Rumours are saying they are going to go after Ryan Anderson (lol), but what else do they do in the off-season? They're another team in danger of drifting into obscurity I think.

  5.

Anyone on here plan on catching summer league games?

Yup! Got the new Apple TV (4th gen) and the League Pass update has been given an awesome update today. Can't wait for Summer League!

Quite a few of the games are on at respectable times live here to which is always nice, seeing as other than my Magic and Celtics I sparsely watch other teams, any particular recommendation of teams to watch during summer league?

I'll be watching the Knicks to see more of Porzingis, but I'd just recommend watching whatever is on at the time. Looking forward to watch some T-Wolves too.

  6. How do we think Melo would take to KD coming in? I would worry about how they would mesh

It's a fair point. I'm still wondering how Melo and DRose are going to get their shots while still getting the ball in Porzingis' hands. I'm excited about a Knicks season for once though, and to see what else they do in free agency.

  7. Not seen anything about the Knicks getting a meeting with KD, Art. It would make the East extremely interesting though.

Looks like Cleveland are prepared to let Delly walk. He's asked for obscene money, even in this cap rich market, and the Cavs are more than likely going to use the majority of what little they do have to play with on bringing back JR. Veteran shooters who are chasing a ring will probably sign up for a pittance too.

Yeah, my mistake. He's not one of the first three teams, but ESPN still reporting that he may consider them. I still think he's 1-upp'ing in OKC though, so it really doesn't matter at this point.

  8. I've read articles strongly linking KD to the Spurs, Warriors, Celtics and to stay at the Thunder. They're are meant to be 2 other teams in the running, and who he's going to meet with (the Clippers were one of them). The Knicks didn't make the list.

I still think he stays at the Thunder. But it's far from a sure-thing.

Looks like he's taking a meeting with the Knicks after all, according to breaking news.

  9. There's no way Noah plays for the Bulls next season. I also don't see the Knicks having a shot at KD so they need to instead focus on completing their line up. A solid backup PG is needed. Mario Chalmers? Austin Rivers?

  10. Lakers aggressively going after Whiteside. Can't see him leaving Miami, but if LA throw enough money at him...

I'm guessing Joakim Noah ends up in NY. He's best pals with Derrick Rose and actually lives there too.

  11. Also, regarding the Draft. I actually like Ingram a lot and think he'll be great in LA under Luke Walton.

In other news, Phil Jackson has reportedly told Derrick Rose that they're going after KD hard. I'm guessing they'll look to sign Pau Gasol too. Imagine if they pulled that off?

  12. A healthy Rose is a game changer.

    It's unlikely you'll get one.

Fingers crossed. But he'll probably get injured coming off the plane.

My hope is that he balls out because it's a contract year for him. And it's a one year gamble. Still better then our lineup last year at least!

Bulls fans hella mad right now.

  13. Holy shit! Another trade! Rose to my Knicks!

The Bulls are sending Derrick Rose, Justin Holiday and a 2017 2nd-round pick for Robin Lopez, Jerian Grant and Jose Calderon.

I gotta say, if Rose stays healthy then this a good trade. I really liked Lopez on the Knicks though...Ahh, mixed emotions.

  14.

    - Dwight Howard has opted out of his contract, as expected. Where do you think he goes? Dallas? Back to Orlando?

Last I read, the Magic didn't have any interest in re-signing Dwight.

Where do you see him ending up? I see that D-Will and Arron Afflalo have opted out of their Knicks contracts! Delighted with that.

  15. Some news:

    - The 76ers have reportedly told Ben Simmons that they'll draft him first tomorrow night.

    - Dirk Nowitzki has opted out of his contract to become a free agent. Does he sign anywhere else other than with the Mavs? Apparantly the Warriors want him.

    - Dwight Howard has opted out of his contract, as expected. Where do you think he goes? Dallas? Back to Orlando?

    - Warriors' top target in free agency is Kevin Durant. I would hate to see him sign there, personally.

    - The Celtics have been trying to trade the #3 pick but have been declined by the Bulls (Butler) and the Bucks (Parker).

  16. I had no idea that Oddisee had dropped a new album until I was browsing Apple Music this morning!

All instrumental, all brilliant. Seriously, this guy is so underated it's unreal. I love his albums where he raps, but the instrumental stuff is awesome as well.

    Here's his new video:

  17. I was waiting for this "big news" today, although some of this had already come out as "rumors" and stuff, straight after Batman/superman was out.

interesting to see that Justice League is not going to be part 1 and 2, just stand alone movies......although they will clearly link in to each other anyway, but that's pretty much the only thing that is news to me.

I at least wanted a photo of all of the characters together or something.
