Matt Hardy won the TNA World Title in a Last Man Standing Match with the help of Tyrus, turning heel and turning ECIII face in the process
-
As stated, part 2 of the best of NXT was on Wednesday with the NXT awards next week - don't know if there's any new content/matches etc though
-
We did learn that 2006 is going to be Bram's year
-
Blatantly Mike Bennett, the miracle being Maria's arse is going to save TNA for another 2 years.
It's worth a shot...

I haven't watched TNA in lord knows how long but I am actually pretty curious about this. Any time when I was little and had the hasbro's out, I always did tournaments like the world cup so it has got my nostalgia engine revving at least.
Does anyone know when this is to kick off? And what day and time TNA is on Challenge? Cheers.
Starts on this Sunday's Impact at 9pm

Ivory came across as an annoying dick in it, which she doesn't usually. New Day was easily the best one yet.
Any news on who is on the next one?
I read they recorded one with current Divas, Natalya, Charlotte and someone else I think. Think there's one with Kevin Owens too coming up.
Pretty sure it was Owens, Ambrose & Cesaro in the advert that was shown

The last tapings were at the end of July, with 3 more episodes to be shown and then Bound for Glory on the 4th October. There are no further tapings scheduled so episodes after BFG could just be miscellaneous stuff from the tapings which haven't been shown unless they get something sorted quickly and also rumours of tapings in India in November as well.
-
There was also the promo at Takeover for Nia Jax, however no idea what she is like in the ring
-
It was announced on last night's NXT that the matches not shown as part of Takeover will be shown on next weeks show. These included the 8 man tag, the womens 4-way match and Eva Marie Vs. Carmella.
-
The past Takeover events have had around 7 matches each with the shows lasting 2 hours, could it maybe be 3 hours? If not, I can definitely see at least 3 of those for the live crowd only.

I think I read somewhere that your average developmental person is on around $45k. Then once they get promoted to the main roster it goes up to $100k.
Have just finished watching the E-60 Behind The Curtain NXT special & these are the amounts mentioned for the development talent, $45,000 to low six figures

Yes, Ziggler is away doing a film, most news sites saying he should be out for about a month.
Also there was a Summerslam 2015 poster 'leaked' last month, giving away one of the matches, has this been confirmed as fake?
-
I know there were a few people who had mentioned the show before but it was announced yesterday that Hannibal has been cancelled by NBC. The ratings for the 3rd season have been pretty bad but they say they are going to try and get it picked up by another channel or service.

nobody else ever used the Doomsday Device in WWE, did they?
I am sure a tag team in WWE used it in the past couple of weeks to win a match, maybe on Smackdown? But just can't recall which one
-
I may actually tune in Sunday for this for once!
I am one of the few still watching Impact! & I haven't seen any spoilers for the UK shows but just watching the TNA One Night Only PPV on Challenge tonight and the loser has just come out with their head shaved

Does anyone know if WWEDVD are planning on a sale at any point within the next few days?
They had 20% off everything a couple of days leading up to Christmas & along with the 10% of 3 items or more, meant you were getting the full price Blu-Rays for about £16.55 each...too late now I know

Triple H's view on the situation - quite interesting interview posted on DigitalSpy carried out just before R-Evolution, other topics covered include William Regal, convincing Vince to put NXT stars on Raw, Adam Rose, promos etc. Not letting me post a link to the entire thing but easy enough to find.
On NXT champ Charlotte losing to Natalya in two minutes on Raw
"One of the difficult things about live programming is that it's live! Times are crunched, times are tweaked. Having been in a million different things going on that night, I can't speak to the exact amount of time that they were given or had, but the show was in flux, it's live.
"I know they were given more time than that, but by the time they get there, things go over, things get crunched. We have a lot of responsibilities to make within that show... commercials. We can't just throw things on the air and they are what they are.
"Would we have preferred to give them more time? Hell, I'd have loved to have given them the time I gave them at the NXT special and be able to showcase what they do.
"As far as the decision of who went over - Nattie or Charlotte or anything like that - those decisions are heavily debated and made. It is what it is
"At the end of the day, for me it's about promotion. When you look at what they have done in NXT and every place else, the amount of people that will see them there compared to the amount of people that will see them on Monday Night Raw with the whole world watching, the difference is mind-boggling.
"Just for them to be exposed in that vein is massive. A lot of people going, 'Oh, it was her debut' and all those things. It was in some way, but it's not like she's going to be there next week.
"By the time she's back on Raw and ready to be competing on Raw on a regular basis and performing on Raw, you'll see a different Charlotte and you'll see it presented in a different way. It was really just exposure.
"As far as what the outcome was, that can be debated. It is what it is. I put out a picture afterwards of she and I afterwards, because she was so emotional when she came back.
"It was just such a positive for everybody involved. For Nattie, for her, they were so excited about the opportunity and just getting to do it and do it in the way they did.
"You can go back and pick apart bits and pieces of it all. But when you overall look at it in the bigger plan six months from now, a year from now, two years from now, whenever it is, no-one's going to go, 'They killed her on her debut'. The bigger picture is involved." -
I think I just assumed it with the 'Lucha!' chant all I've seen him do since his debut and not really knowing anything about him
-
I was surprised at how well he talked and how good his English was as well on the pre-show - definitely agree it seems like he's the closest to Rey that there are going to get!
-
Definitely agree about Toast Of London, still have the last 2 episodes of series 2 to watch. Also it was announced on Monday that series 3 has already been commissioned so it should hopefully be on around the same time next year
-
Eh? Sky OnDemand, are you sure? I just checked it on the app and couldn't find it. I'll definitely give this a watch on the train if it is.
Just had a look and it's definitely there under TNA Presents: Bound for Glory

Enjoying Detectorists on BBC 3. Bit of a gentle comedy, but really hitting my funny bone.
Got this one series linked, looks interesting, just haven't got round to watching it yet. It is BBC4 btw just incase BBC3 was putting anyone off
-
Another match added to the Bound for Glory card
Andy Wu & Hijo Del Pantera Vs. Kuroshio Ikemen Jiro & Yusuke Kodama. Also it seems like the X-Division title is on the line in the match mentioned previously but the Knockouts isn't
-
Full Bound For Glory 2014 card announced (spoilered incase anyone doesn't want to know)
Tajiri & The Great Muta Vs. James Storm & The Great Sanada

It happened on SmackDown a couple of weeks ago, after his match they teased a 'big announcement', and then said it was that they were splitting up, ending the segment using the seflie stick to take photos.
