  1. Has anyone been to the specialist craft beer shop Beermoth in Manchester? I'm going to it in two months time and hope to pick up some rarities in craft beer if anyone can recommend something from its shop that would be most appreciated.

    Regards

    Tom

  2. I have just heard that within the week both The Solid Rock Cafe and Rufus T Firefly in Glasgow are going to have on tap Williams Bros Joker IPA. I like it as a good session IPA.

  3. Mainstream pub in the U.K.!

MVP and Samoa Joe are on twitter saying they got the boys back if he's suspended from school. TNA I believe are sending the boy some merch as it's got the company free publicity/make up for the boy being suspended from school.

  4. Had some Clown King barley wine from Brewdog. Very sweet but the aftertaste left a very strong bitterness that left your tongue dancing and wanting more. Was only available as a draught 1/3rd due to it being 12% and came in at

  5. Wipe the cow's arse, show it the fire and put it on my plate. Red meat should be red, not brown.

I'm the oppopsite. I like all my beef to be brown not red as to me seeing redness in the beef just makes it look not cooked to me.

I like my bacon to be done that is practically burnt to a cinder as i want to make sure all the fat has been burned off and looks similar to the bacon you would get on a burger out of Burger King.

  6. I had this served well done

You don't deserve to be let near a decent cut of meat. If you take a nice piece of steak and cook it till it's well done, you'll be left with something that tastes no better than the cheapest cut of beef cooked for a few hours.

Just stop posting about things you clearly know nothing about.

It is just a personal preference of mine. I like all my meat cooked well done as i don't like to see redness in my red meat as to me that looks like it is still raw so i won't eat it.

  7. Had a visit to Anderson's Bar & Grill in Birmingham on Saturday. Their speciality is large steaks served on a wooden board to share. Below is a 30 ounce Porterhouse steak with sides of peppercorn sauce and sea salt to add to the steak. I had this served well done and it was an easy to cut steak and was melt in your mouth. Very full flavored steak and could tell it had been well rested before cooking and after to acheive a really enjoyable cut of meat.

  8. So that's beer, tea and burgers you've ruined. Just stay away from jaffa cakes, you idiot.

Genuine tip. The lidl own make Jaffa cakes are amazing and better than the big brand and cheaper.

  9. I thought I'd post a photo or two of my visit to a restaurant today. It's called Buddy's Bar & Grill in the Strathbungo area of Glasgow. It's been getting rave reviews as an authentic American style restaurant serving up food that is man vs food inspired.

    This is what I had:

This is called "The Duke" it's the same as a double western burger on the menu with addition of pulled pork. A western burger itself is two quarter pound burgers, two cheese slices, applewood smoked bacon, a large onion ring and sweet BBQ sauce. They add half a pound of pulled pork to the burger for "The Duke"

I also had two sides pictured below with Cajun seasoned fries and beef brisket. The chips were amazing and the brisket was so soft and tender and juicy that it just crumbled in your mouth and had a lovely smoked taste.

This is their menu to drool over:

  10. I mentioned in the food thread I was having an organisational role with this years East Renfrewshire Food & Drink festival in August. It's a three day event in a local park in East Renfrewshire area of Glasgow. Quite excited as it's looking like I will be in charge of organising a beer tent.

The tent is going to have three elements.

    1) We will have four brewers having four taps each of their beers so people can buy a pint.

    2) Over the course of the three days people can book in for a beer tasting session which will be hosted by someone who is a craft beer expert.

    3) The invited brewers will also have the chance to sell their beers in bottles to take away as we plan to have a bottle shop counter. The beers to buy to take away will also include beers from around the world.

We are in talks to have Mikkeller the brewer himself come to the festival which would be a massive coup for craft beer lovers.

  11. I am pleased to be getting to work at the East Renfrewshire Food & Drink festival which takes place from 29-31 August this year. I'm going to be helping with the event set up and will be hands on with the promotion. Expecting to have lots of fun working on this.

  12. I assumed the UK tours were the company's own venture. Surely no cunt is throwing money year after year at half empty arenas other than the company itself.

SJM concerts as of last year went through the bought show route with TNA for the last tour. It was the first time they had done so and was something TNA had wanted for the UK tours for a while. The tour two years ago was where the business was done for last years tour to be bought in.

SJM have ownership of Gigs And Tours ticket website as it's their own ticket shop for all the gigs they promote so if you have noticed in past tours they would give direct venue details for buying tickets and mention ticketmaster but TNA Wrestling UK's Facebook page have pretty much told people just Gigs and Tours is the place to buy tickets as it's probably been decided in the deal to do so.

The tour last year did an almost 10,000 draw in London a 6,000 draw in Manchester a 4,000 draw in Nottingham and a 2000 draw in Glasgow.

  13. Just reading that the AB:15 from Brewdog will be a Salt Caramel Popcorn flavoured beer aged in a cask made up of planks from both rum and bourbon barrels for two years.

AB:15 referes to the 15th bottle in the Abstrakt limited release series of beers Brewdog creates.

  14. Not only boring, they confer boring status to anything he talks about - beer, tea, wrestling, anything. He's that friend when you were a kid who used to ruin hobbies by taking them up after everyone else and then becoming really over-the-top obsessed so the hobby became instantly not cool.

In all honesty i think you may have answered something that has been a problem for me my whole life. I've been unable to sum it up in words and you have nailed it on the head. I think this has to be the main point of my unlikeability on here and in life in general.

I get too focused and obessed about things which puts people off conversing with me and i struggle to have a balance of having interests without going overboard.
