As a father of a Autistic son who is now 14 and will probably never talk and will need 24h care for the rest of his life i agree with everything you say. 

Its been a life long fight and remains one.

Only this week i have had to jump though multiple hoops to get him an eye test, Due to his lack of speech and understanding he has to go to the hospital to be seen. The hold odd crystals up to his face and attempt to judge his sight based on that.

Any way during covid they didnt run a clinic fair enough. I phoned them yesterday only to find out to get back into the clinic i need a GP to refer him again. Nothing is ever done without a shit ton of hassle i could do without.

Mine is so boring but i really need to get back to the gym. 

I stopped pre pandemic and have grown fat and out of shape. I had a scan on my lower back that showed 3 discs not looking so good. The days of power lifting are more or less over for me. I need to lose weight anyway. I think i will be around 20 stone at 44 thats not going to help said back and all my other joints. 

Its also good for my mental health, being my sons full time carer can be very lonely when hes at school and the mrs is at work. 

Oh god matt koon has a new guest coming in.

He has had zero control on Russo and Regal i dont expect this to get any better.

The parks are open like nothing ever happened today. The only noticeable difference was the skyliner line was so long this morning it went past pop and all the way back to art. We got a Lyft to Epcot in the end.

Food court is crazy lined for an hour to get pizza. Lucky I got a Amazon shop in a few days ago so we have lunch and breakfast here.

Universal islands day. 

Got there on opening to find forbidden closed. It remained that way for about 3 hours

Loved hagirds it’s the right level coaster for the family enough thrills without being to much 

However….velocicoaster scared the living shit out of me. I like coasters but that airtime? I came off with a blister under my ring finger from the terror of holding on.  
 

My son loved the kong ride I did to it’s very well done. 
 

At Disney now and it’s heaving the dollar to pound is making everything stupidly expensive lucky we got dining credits and gift card. I don’t know how you afford it other wise. 
 

The genie isn’t working to many people have it. At haunted mansion there was a lightning lane line snaking outside the ride!! 
 

Epcot was busy to today but the extra half hour allowed a easy ratatouille ride. We more or less got in everything although frozen was down all day.

loved gotg hit the virtual line button dead on 7 ride at 2.30. Great ride.

Typhoon lagoon never gets boring had a great time there yesterday afternoon. 

Skyliner at pop is a game changer I nipped out  alone last night 10 minutes I was at Hollywood studios and single rider walked onto the smugglers run with zero wait. 

Sea world day today.

Totally dead walked on every ride with zero wait time.  Brought the refill cup then shared it between the 3 of us. Worth every penny, refill watermelon slush is the best. 

Put my son on ice breaker hard to judge if he liked it or not to be fair he didn’t hate it. He did love the new rapids ride there got soaked though to the skin mind. Loved the penguins exhibit. Sadly the wild artic was closed as it was part of their halloween after hours party. 

We got there dead on opening rode what we wanted saw the shows and was out by 4. Thunder has currently closed our hotels pool sadly. 

Never used lyft before but it’s super easy and cheaper than paying to park. 
 

Landed yesterday.

What a nightmare. 2 hours at Gatwick delayed, get to mco in a huge storm that stopped them unloading the bags for another 2 hours, forgot  to set my phone to allow data roam…..over paid for a taxi. I do however count myself lucky the flight from Gatwick behind us was rerouted to tampa……

By the time we checked into our hotel on I drive it was 3am Uk time.

I was utterly blown away by how my lad handled it all he slept for a few hours the night before the flight so had been up the best part of 24 hours. Had a few wobbles but nothing major considering I don’t think he understood what was happening and being unable to speak I can’t tell what he thinks.

We had today down as a rest day and spent the time getting some groceries and swimming.

Sea world tomorrow where I will put him on his first coaster ice breaker seems ok. Then islands the day after before we move to Disney. Can’t wait to do hagrids and gog
