    i see ya point, with moreishima winning the belt in america, and with it being noah based that show and nigel making apearences in noah couldnt see why not, just cant imagine title changing hands on 1st night of a double shot

    Would set a rematch for night 2?

    I'm not saying the schedue doesn't need to be lighter because it does, but there is NO way that WWE would just lose 3 months of TV to give people a rest. the only solution is to give talent more time off from house shows but still have them work TV and PPV events. There is no chance of them just giving up 3 months tv or 3 months live revenue for anything, there really is no point discussing it.

    So why not say 4 days before xmas run Raw as normal, tape Smackdown + ECW the next night for the next 2 weeks (run 1 ECW Live) and not run house shows over xmas but run a Raw live in an arena thats near to the majority of wrestlers homes and use as least as possible guys on the show?Then comes the summer do the same thing for 2 weeks and try and one week stack half the storylines on one show and the other half onto the one the week after giving wrestlers 12 days off.It won't work because Americans get 2 weeks holiday a year as average leave where as we average about 4. Giving guys time off is difficult because of storylines but with Smackdown being taped i dont see why they can't double tape smackdown when ECW's contract runs out?

    Maybe, just maybe Vince will ease up the WWE schedule.He's lost 2 Main eventers in 2 years due to what looks like the time spent on the road killing people both mentally and physically.RIP Chris, i will hope you'll be having your ONS rematch shortly.

    I'll always remember his WCW. I didn't mind his 70s Guy gimmick at all. Thought he was a good worker too.It was good that he left that match at ONS 2005 as our final memory.RIP Mike. :(

    I watched the ONS match yesterday. Its pretty creepy, hearing Joey shout that he hopes Awesome lands on his head and dies.Was he mentioned at all on ECW this week? Anyone know what day ECW is shown late over here? (I dont think ive watched it since week 4).
    Before I even knew the full story (i.e. Awesome was owed a ton of money from ECW) I always thought Styles was overly harsh at the first One Night Stand. It was as if he was the first person to jump to another company for more money.He went to WCW for financial security, and he did the admirable thing and dropped the title - what more could you ask from him?
    Didn't he try and take the ECW Title onto nitro but a federal injuction stopped him?

    This weeks show was dedicated to Mike Awesome. It's funny how ONS he was made to look like a monster who ripped ECW off but since he died, people are feeling sorry for him. I bet Joey Styles and Paul E was emotional when they heard about this.

    Friends were coming to his home in Tampa to pick him up and go out Saturday night at about 10:30 p.m. and he never answered the door and found him hanging in the home. It is believed the death was due to suicide pending results of the autopsy.

    Sounds like he emulated the Feeder Drummers suicide but he had to choose between his wife and homeland.

    I don't want Awesome gone. I'm still living in the belief he'll come back to ECW with Paul Heyman to save it as being only one of the few people who could with Tanaka.I don't care if it's 2007 Tanaka/Awesome would outdraw Lashley/Test any day of the week.

    There seems to be one main benefactor from 1PW and that man is Alex Shane. Shane + FWA when they brought over people only brought 1/2 guys over unless it was for British Uprising. Now since Gauntley's attempt where people viewed the UK as a simple few dates every so often has gone bye and with the ROH/Shane relationship and with him saving this one with Japan and with the King Of Europe cup he's become the main guy in britian from it. And well done to Alex and i hope you keep this relationship going and maybe even start sending people the other way too.

    Where would this leave 1PW's status in the KOE cup?

    APW will have the slot :laugh: I'm sure there will be a respectable replacement maybe even someone from Japan after Alex Shane has helped saved the whole fiasco as it will probably put him over in Japan.
