I would seriously fear for other major UK cities right now. Already reports of violence in Liverpool to add to that in Birmingham and London. It's only a matter of time before it spreads to Glasgow, Newcastle, Cardiff, etc.

Totally agree Mark. I have advertised and had pieces included which is why I said it might be due to people not trying to get the coverage. I think the one to watch segments are great to get individuals noticed.

It always seems to be the same core of promotions getting coverage at present but I think what they offer is far better than anything UK related they or others have done before. Maybe its because those companies are being more pro active in getting the coverage but it often feels more like its who you know when I see who is getting the spotlight. Again, that is more of an observation than a knock as I think the amount of UK coverage is refreshing and the one to watch piece is always enjoyable and excellent PR for UK guys

I can't stand his articles, when he first started it seemed like a nice walk down memory lane but it quickly became "look who I know in the business" and its self indulgent borefests nowadays in my opinion. I don't mind Storm's articles but I always liked Storm, RD is white noise for me and, like Apter, he has been for some time. I have said before and will say again that the mag has much improved in the last 6 months as others have deservedly noticed. Like any publication I prefer some writers and their styles to others, some massively so but its definitely a decent to good read every month depending on what is being covered. The recent issue was as diverse as any I have read due to taking in DG: USA, ROH, WWE, etc at the Mania weekend and although I'm not into all of them others will be and it was a nice little piece for me to read to get a taste of some of the stuff I never normally bother with.

I for one have enjoyed it Benny, both the good and the bad, its been good to learn about some UK guys and great to hear my thoughts on others echoed by folk who know more about the UK scene than me. I decided not to vote as I didnt know enough outside the north east but have really enjoyed reading the placings, the write ups and the comments, got to go gold in my opinion as others said in the gold thread
