Val is the most disgusting looking lass in wrestling ever! I would notice her if she walked in a bar but only cos she looks like Rocky from the film Mask
-
I dont think that would have played a moment's thought in WWE's mind when considering when to run their PPPV. Arent there only about 30,000 usually buy TNA PPVs?
-
He looks like the bloke out of Just Good Friends -
If I was going to start watching Raws from 1997 where would people suggest I start? Beginning of the year or a bit later? Thanks
-
I now see what all the fuss is about regarding Grado, the lad is hilarious!
-
Love that Grado vid, knew there was a buzz about him being used by ICW but dont really follow their product so didnt know what it was all about. Briliant stuff!
-
A quick google search shows she was FHM's winner of the 100 Sexiest Women in the World or whatever its called in 1996 so she's definitely been known for her looks
-
Its not a bad film if you know what you're letting yourself in for.
Â
Gillian Anderson always looked great in my opinion but as she is in her mid 40s now she is doing very well to look as good as she does
-
She really is a life long slag isnt she?
-
Regal's is one of my favourites. I picked it up at work on Boxing Day one year knowing it would be a boring long shift with nothing to do and managed to read it all in one day, but I mean that as a compliment, I just couldnt put it down.
-
That was already brilliant but the Val comments at the end were superb!
-
Shango and Nash wins it for me! Top marks!!
Â
Shango and Nash made me Spit Tea at my computer screen :-) that is inspired! Bravo
Â
Thankfully I finished my tea moments before or may have had the same outcome, beautiful stuff for Shango & Nash

I dont understand whats wrong, unless its copyrighted pictures I dont see a problem anywhere.
-
It is a great thread, no doubting that. One of the most interesting and original threads on here in ages.
-
Then why mention anything at all? It really isnt your place to do so at all.
-
The WCW World Heavyweight title that Hogan spray painted was the original and used since its introduction in February 1986 up until Scott Steiner switched it over in 2000. The belt had to be releathered, repaired and re-plated many times throughout its run.
Â
That would make it a bit like Trigger's broom surely.
-
I watched about 20 seconds of that, is the interviewer eating crisps or something?
-
Some feedback that I have held back in the past - Richard Luck really needs to stop trying to be a smartarse with his reliance / insistence on using real names, it looks like amateur hour trying to look knowledgeable and cool. Its become an unwelcome trademark of his now. Staying on that topic his article on Daniels last month was like something on a fan website, it was so biased and slanted, talking about one of the biggest opinion dividers in the business as a undeniable superstar and burying Sting like a stroppy super-mark. There were too many ulterior motives and I look forward to impartiality in the articles I read.
Â
I generally enjoy reading the mag and have openly praised the improvements over the last 18 months but I had to get that off my chest as the name thing has been bothering me for ages but the biased article really drew away from the professionalism I see in other writers such as Lister and co.
-
I am not sure what's worse - the dancing in a graveyard or wearing white nike trainers with a black suit!
-
What an awful, awful trailer. Seriously.
Â
He is such an unlikeable prick. I still dont understand why they want him as babyface. He has no redeemable qualities whatsoever.
-
Too spotty too soon for me and didnt tell a story!
Â
In all seriousness the folk that put that together must have far too much time on their hands but the effort and detail it must take to do that is amazing.

I remember my friend spotting a copy of COMBAT magazine in my bag at college (it had an article on EWW in it which I wanted to read). When he asked what I was doing with a martial arts magazine (I had never shown any interest in the subject in my entire life and I'd known the guy for years and he thought I'd stopped watching wrestling years earlier) I came up with some completely over the top bullshit excuse about my mum wanting it for school (she's a BIOLOGY teacher) as they were doing a seminar on how to protect yourself. Absolutely rediculous cover up. I'm still not sure if he bought it or not as I swiftly changed the conversation.
You're that ashamed of being a fan of pro wrestling?
Â
This was almost 12 years ago and was my first year at college meeting new people - there was no way I was letting that bad boy out the bag ..... quite literally.
Â
My recordings of PPVs in 2000 made me very popular at college when I showed them on Mondays, this was probably the most accepting time in hisotry of being a wrestling fan
-
They're good points Ian, I read it when it was very new and hadnt heard all of the stories at that point, I imagine reading it now would not be very insightful at all
-
I enjoyed the WCW book but it definitely belongs in the fiction section. As said earlier, Bischoff's book following this is a good second point of view on a lot of things

Which modern day wrestler could you go as and be instantly recognisable like you could as say Warrior, Hogan, Bret, etc?
