  1. All sorted talked to head office. Got a new pair being sent out.

So you just rang them and they agreed to send new shoes?! Whats the number, I wouldnt mind some free shoes myself if its that easy.

  2. Surely they didnt take the box from you, you must have gave them the box. Unfortunately I am not witty like Rosey, Ian & co so I will just have to say you are a moron who lacks any basic logic and from the way you have described the shoes I keep imagining Happy Gilmore's caddy and his lovely footwear. One more thing to try though, have you took the scrunched up paper out of the trainers?

  3. I have probably only seen two of his interviews, one was Cornette and I think the other was maybe Al Snow. Maybe its not getting himself over, that is probably the wrong way of putting it. I think he comes across as smug, his expressions, comments and body language in the ones I saw came across that way to me. No need for evidence though as its just an opinion, although maybe not presented as such in my earlier post.

  4. Definitely, I dont mind the questions coming in that bring up good topics but the example you gave about Batista are the ones that drive me crazy. I think all I am after is someone I can learn something from or someone who has interesting stories to tell. I could easily sit and watch someone point a camera at themselves and do a bit of a video autobiography and the RF stuff is closer to that than Oliver getting himself over. I also think the Guest Booker type concepts are pointless if its what I think which is re-booking an historical period cos its been and gone and doesnt mean anything but the straight up interviews minus the divs can be enjoyable.

I think as a lot of people have told their stories they need to keep them fresh when they're back on so I understand why they try t change things up, I guess I just like simpler interview formats personally

  5. I enjoyed the Shane Douglas YouShoot that was recently released. In fact most of the YouShoot's are fairly entertaining.

are the YouShoots the onses with the smuggest man on the planet in a suit and supermark divs videoing in questions like how man guys did Sunny sleep with? If so I hate them as the host and the divs ruin any potentially good interviews

I think you are referring to Sean Oliver. Supermark divs such as people who frequent wrestling message boards?

Far superior than Rob Feinstein's shoots, he seems to know less and less each time I watch as his questions sometimes aren't even relating to the guy he is interviewing. "I never did that in my career you nonce".

I dont like the RF questioning but they allow the interviewee to be the main thing youre watching and while everything is usually "memories of..." it allows the interviewee to control how he wants to get his stories across, his research is poor at best as you say

the supermark divs I am referring to that video stupid things in or not like the majority of people on wrestling message boards, there may be a tiny minority like that on here but the comparison youre making isnt just, maybe you class yourself as one to see such a comparison but I know I am nothing like them and 99% of the wrestling fans I know are nothing like them either

  7. I really enjoyed Bischoff's book, not sure whats true and whats his version of events but it is a different take on things and he does admit a lot of mistakes on his part so it seems like a reasonably fair account of things, only thing is its a WWE publication so there is bound to be a bit of arse kissing along the way

  8. Good point Jim, I cant recall the guy having a bad match. I think his biggest flaw is he is repetitive in his comeback and doesnt change it up or allow anything to stop the comeback but Bret Hart was accused of the same thing about his comeback. I am not comparing the two in any other way but for me the repetition is the biggest issue. I dont remember him having too many stinkers though

  9. His wrestling skills are even more limited than Hogan on a bad day

He has had some of the best matches in the last few years against the likes of Edge, Punk, Michaels, Triple H, Umaga and probably a fair few more

his gimmick is childish and tacky and his personality is one dimensonial

thats not Cena's problem, that could be applied to most in wrestling at the moment

He only became top face because Austin quit due to injuries, the Rock went to hollywood and the one guy they were banking on (Brock Lensar) got fed up of the business

thats a pointless comment as it would apply to whoever became top face, you could say Triple H only became top heel at the turn of the century because there was nobody else about, it didnt make him any less effective

There are loads of divs who bang on about the Cena era being shit because of Cena, if that was the case there would be loads of people in the midcard tearing up shows and being held down but there isnt, Cena is regarded by those who make the big decisions are the best of his bunch. The fact is no full time wrestler can match his reactions or his popularity and I say all this as someone who isnt a Cena fan, I just think I understand the business better than a lot of people who mindlessly criticise Cena. Sure he should be criticised at times, I have done it as much as most going back to when he was feuding with a wheelchair bound Kurt Angle on Smackdown but its those who criticise him with the repetitive crap that they have seen elsewhere that dont understand things.

Let me finish with this - who would you have as the top guy in the company?

  10. IMPORTANT:

    Bit of an overstatement.

Anyway, it really is a cracking mag these days and easily the UK's best wrestling periodical. However, when are you going to get shut of RD Reynolds? He's terrible. He's easily the worst thing in the magazine. Awful.

with Apter in second place, always self indulgent crap without fail every month

  11. I'm not sure exactly but it definitely felt bigger, but I guess if we were able to traverse it in a car it would seem smaller!

I dont think RDR was that big at all, travel at rather slow speeds from end to end didnt take too long, it looked bigger than it was in my opinion

  12. I like to think he's been on a vigilante mission, driving house to house in the UK, and shooting anyone involved in 1PW.*ring on the doorbell*Hello?Hello sir. Are you .. *checks list* ..?Yes, that's me.DID YOU NOT GET TAUGHT IT'S DANGEROUS TO PLAY WITH KHEMICALS AT SCHOOL?!*BANG*

kinda like Steve Buscemi's character in Billy Maddison? The guy with the list
  13. No, that's the equally lovely Michelle Monaghan.

oh right, cheers, that explains why it did look like who I was expecting to see  yeah, I'm a fan of Michelle Monaghan, thanks for clearing it up for me
