  1. He slates senile old Jerry Lawler in this month's "Things Wot People Said On The Telly" roundup for thinking Del Rio's ring announcer was named "Ricky Ricardo".

Fin Martin - misser of points, jokes and pop culture references. 'Cos that's how he rules.

Cause Lawler referencing a 1950s TV show when kids born in the late 90s/early 2000s is hip and happening!

I was looking up I Love Lucy a few weeks ago as I'm trying to get the DVD's anyway I read that since it first started it has aired at least once a week somewhere in America.

Dont get me wrong dude - I LOVE the Honeymooners- but these are kids used to Ben 10 and everything else

I agree I just think it's an odd little fact I thought it would get repeated here and there but a constant repeat running for the past 50+ years isn't bad I'm sure some kids have watched or heard of it but the majority won't have.

Saying that I'm clueless about new TV comedy give me a Dad's Army or any 50's to mid 80's sitcom reference and I'll get it give me one from say The Inbetweeners or anything else modern and it will go over my head.

  3. There's two Doctors. One that likes rubik's cubes, brown shoes and apples, and one that likes fish fingers in custard, black shoes and can't do rubik's cubes. Trust me.

Maybe I still think that The Doctor's Ganger either survived or another Ganger of him was (will be) made.

  4. We wont see what was in it and nor should we. I like the mystery behind that. Its like his name. I like the fact we don't know what he's truely frightened of.

I havn't seen the episode but know vaguely what happens. When he opened the door didn't the cloister bell sound, which is only sound during Universe / Time ending super threats?

Yep. Who knows what it could be, but I reckon it could be perhaps the evil side of the Doctor (ie the Dream Lord) taking over his body and mutilating his TARDIS...or something.

The Valeyard is The Evil Doctor and he may still turn into him at some point (The Dream Lord may be The Valeyard)

I do think The Doctor is afraid of himself and what he can and sometimes has to do.

Maybe the reason he got rod of Amy and Rory is he saw them die and knows with his past if they stick with him long enough sooner or later they will or something will happen to them.

  5. Oh, I just remembered that there actually was one. One from when I worked at Pizza Hut, his table tried to do a runner and he came back and paid the bill himself and apologised for the others.

Not that it matters, I fully believe that people should be judged on what they do, not what their background/race/religion/nationality/whatever is.

    Entirely agreed.

The pizza hut thing kinda makes the point as well, how many times did you serve a table who may well have been made up of travellers but you had no idea that's what they were? Like I said, they don't wear uniforms.

Believe me, the Doncaster Huts were very quiet, we knew everyone who came in near as dammit. Though we got a surprise when Gabrielle came in. Not a great tipper.

Doncaster that was probably my lot then or at least the ones who traveled with them they tend to stick up that end.

  6. Maybe travellers should ask themselves why people don't want them there? It's not like people are being unreasonable, is it?

If travellers settled down into normal houses and stopped acting like cretins, people wouldn't even know they were travellers unless they told them.

I don't see the problem with them really as long as they don't brake the law if they want to travel or live in caravans it's up to them and some I've been in are a lot better than a lot of hoses I've been in or lived in.

  7. I have Gypsy's in my family not new age ones either my great grandparents were ones who settles down but the rest of the family didn't and TBH they are probably the only members of my family (except my mum and brothers) who I like.

However if these travelers broke the law they broke the law the law is above nobody.

  8. Rita would have made a good future assistant if not for the whole dying thing.

I still think Sally Sparrow from the episode Blink would of made a great companion I really think they missed an opportunity with her.

  9. Anyone else really like Rory? Brilliantly acted by Darvill, especially last weeks. Two very good episodes in a row, with 'The Girl Who Waited' being a real stand out. Intrigued to see how it'll end, personally I hope River Song is gone after this finale. As much as I like Kingston, I really want to see Smith go to town with the role

I'm a big fan of Rory I dislike Amy and wish they would get rid of her but I know if they do that Rory would leave to as the only reason he stays is to be with Amy so to get him I have to put up with her.

  10. I'm guessing the new house they were given ends up being the place Amy & Rory were living when got the letter from the Doctor at the start of this series and it ends up being some kind of time loop where half the stuff in the series ends up never happening.

Maybe but in episode 1 Amy said she was pregnant and in last nights she had already had Melody/River I do think stuff what's happened though is going to be changed.

I wouldn't be shocked if they even go back to some stuff from last year as we never did know why the TARDIS exploded and the Silence is still out there and I did read that Moffatt said that will be cleared up eventually.

  11. So has Amy just accepted that her daughter has been kidknapped by aliens and will be raised to be a killing machine?

Yeah she just said "If you see her tell her to pop around to see her mum"

I think Amy and Rory are only gone for a week next week is the companion lite episode (last week was The Doctor lite one) so it's just an excuse to why they aren't there

  12. From Hope Not Hate

Yesterday we published a blog titled " Some strange returns and culinary confusion"

In this blog we described how the EDL's Essex organiser Paul Prodromou had found a new friend, the well known Neo Nazi Eddie Stamton.

As part of the article we published a poor quality black and white photograph with the caption "Stamton ( With Flag) on Brick Lane.

It appears we made a mistake and we apologise.

It wasn't Brick Lane after all, it was however The Bethnal Green road.

So just for Eddie Stamton and his new found friends within the EDL we republish the original photograph.

And while we remember we have also found these photos of a young Stamton at a British Movement summer camp, along with a rather telling one of Stamton in his bedroom.

Next you'll be telling us Eddie that you don't run an online merchandising outfit selling Neo Nazi memorabilia.

    the Pictures

    1397_1062.jpg1397_1063.jpg1397_1064.jpg1397_1065.jpg

For people who "want to save England" why do they worship the Nazi's who have done more damage and killing of English people than the Muslims ever have or will makes me wonder just who's side they would of been on in WW2

  13. Religious slaughter and mass consumption slaughter are different and should be treated as such

You said it's the way the animal is killed killing is killing do you really think the cows sent to a mass consumption slaughter house and the ones sent to a halal one or a kosher one are any happier

  14. It's hardly getting al capone on tax evasion though is it?

what next from the anti facists "look there he is coming out of the corner shop with a copy of asian babes"

If he is such a vile racist it shouldn't be too hard getting him on video saying racist stuff for example here is "moderate muslim" Medi Hassan ( the second muslsim pundit from Sunday live) calling all non muslims animals non muslims live as animals

Ok eating there does not make him racist just a lying hypocrite to his reason why he refused to eat in the nick.

  15. But, according to your HNH/MAC logic, you SHOULD be equally as vocal about it because it is still barbaric, it doesn't matter if there is more halal meat than kosher meat.

Very true they claim it because it's the way the animal is killed but it seems it's more the fact that they may have to eat Muslim food they even said what they want is labeling not the process itself banned as if it was labeled it would hardly cause the animal dying any less pain.

  16. Wow man goes into nationally recognized chain restaurant for something to eat way to stick it to dem racialists hope not hate, investigative journalism at its finest

Nandos serve beef too as well as a number of vegetarian options you know, now if hes gone in throwing a pigs head about its worth commenting on

It makes no difference he refused to eat in prison because they serve Halal meat he had other options then but choice to go on hunger strike as a protest that they even served it when he gets out he went to a restaurant who serve Halal meat it doesn't matter if all he had was a bad of crisps he still went there.
