  1. Cop Land

Well, I was pretty damn impressed with this. There is an awfully sinister tone pretty much from the start of this one. There were three things in the movie which I loved though.

    1) The point when Harvey Keitel says "Who the fuck do you think you are ?" and Stallone's eyes just change completely, and you can tell that he's gonna bust their asses.

    2) Stallone being shot in his good ear. I was just really thinking "God dammit ! Kill those fucks !" when that happened.

    3) When Stallone was walking towards that house, it was an absolutely tremendous visual. The shootout which followed was stunning too.

As far as the characters go, every character seemed to have the desired effect. Stallone was superb as Heflin I thought, while the other performance that amazed me was Robert Patrick. I was pleasantly surprised by the movie.

  2. There are some Spielberg movies I blatantly don't like, and others that I love, and there seems to be no middle ground.Love : The Terminal, Minority Report, AI, Schindler's List, Hook, ET, Duel, JawsHate : War of the Worlds, Munich, Catch Me If You Can, Saving Private Ryan, Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Close Encounters of the Third KindAnything that isn't there, I haven't seen.As for The Shawshank, it's very much my favourite movie ever. All of the subplots are interesting, there's not a character in there that I can't involve with and not a minute I'm bored.

  3. Did anyone ever see the series Brimstone?

    Which one was that?
EDIT : Messed up a spoiler.
  4. I am sure he thought it was cool and interesting alright but for joe punter, i.e me, it was a waste of time. At the very least he could have written a short description of what exactly it was so we, the viewer, could make an informed decision as to whether or not to view his clip. I had an idea it was something involving him doing something wrestling related.

You're right. Personally, I wish people would stop posting those daft old comedy things on here. I think they're a waste of time.Oh wait, it's only ME that thinks that. Carry on.
  5. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2Well, I didn't expect this to be as good as it is. I absolutely loved the start of this. To say I was pretty shocked by it would be an understatement. The ending isn't as good as the original, and I'm not sure that there was any need for it to be done the way it was done, but everything up to that point sure was enjoyable.
