The thing I found most interesting was Shawn Michaels being involved in the MOTY almost every year yet not winning the wrestler of the year. I'll need to look back over the 2006 shows though because I can't bring myself to believe that Edge vs. Mick Foley, as fun as it was, was the best match of 2006. Even in WWE.

Brian Woods is inconsistant. Here's what's gonna happen. Most weeks he WILL take that tonking. On one week every two months he'll probably get to at LEAST the quarters on both days and then be back to normal the next week.
-
I knew Jan Dekker was pretty loyal, but Dean Winstanley could have really benefitted from that move. Stupid move not to take the pro cards and he deserves to be stuck playing shite as a result.
-
This whining is fairly funny in itself.
-
Dave Chisnall went through the Qualifying School and earned a spot on the Pro Tour. As did Shane O'Connor, James Richardson ( who had won a total of 50 quid from playing darts ) and Shaun Griffiths.
-
PITCOS is someone who annoys me from time to time, but he's such an easy pick for this one.
Â
Strongly opinionated and flies in with two feet every time, which is commendable I reckon, even if I don't agree much of the time.
-
Cleetus is very hit and miss. I suppose he's more miss than hit. He can be funny though, which is more than can be said for the other nominees here. I think CVD is winning because almost every post he makes is a shot at humour and with so much failure, it gets noticed more. I suppose Butch is the same, to a lesser extent. Lesser extend meaning 1) less goes at being funny and 2) less failures.

I was kinda disappointed Gladstone Small wasn't up for this actually. I'd have voted for him.
-
I've seen all six at some point over the last 12 months and also went for Lionheart, so I'm all for that vote!
-
It's been a decent final, although the standard has not been good at all.
Â
Dean Winstanley is also counting much better here. He's annoyed me a couple of times when he's been at 262, but other than that, he's not had bother.
-
I'm ashamed to admit that I'm gonna be watching that prick Adams play in this Blue Square Lge championship final against a man who only seems to check out on 40!
Â
What's wrong with that?
Â
Not expecting a great standard here though, you're certainly right about that.

Best: Sheamus
Worst: Abyss

I was close to voting for the MCMG/Beer Money fued based purely on how good the matches were. The 2/3 Falls Match in particular was a real sight.
Â
I went for El Generico vs. Kevin Steen in the end though, because it was just so heated and almost every match in the fued was an absolute massacre, and kudos to Corino and Cabana for playing a good part in the shenanigans as well.
-
I went for ICW. A show that pretty much delivers everything I could want. Great normal wrestling, great hardcore wrestling and on occaision, mad overbooked wrestling. Good promos and big surprises on almost every show too. Only one winner!
-
I went for Wrestlemania. I actually enjoyed it MORE on a second viewing. Great main event, terrific Money in the Bank ( possibly the best one since Mania 23 ), Batista/Cena and a whole host of decent stuff on there too. One horrible match doesn't drag it down for me.
Â
TNA Hardcore Justice is an easy pick for Worst. Dreamer/Raven was much much shittier than I thought it was at the time. Repeat viewing didn't help this show at all.
Â
Most of the other shows had at lost one cracker of a match on it to make it better than the shitfest that was the TNA show.
-
Mike Castle. Not even close.
-
KOW's reign doesn't even come close to Aries/Strong
Â
Any Kings match I've seen during their title reign has been brilliant. Which on it's own makes me like it more than the Aries/Strong reign.
-
Paul London plays a decent role in PWG's match of the year at Seven, in a three way Guerrilla Warfare match as he and El Generico take on The Young Bucks and The Cutlers. Definately must-see.
-
Right, so the PL is...
Â
Taylor, Lewis, Wade, Anderson, Whitlock, Barney, Jenkins and Webster.
Â
That's a cracking lineup. Lewis vs. Taylor will be happening on the opening night at the O2 but I don't know anything else.
-
Sid is a fucking walloper of the highest order, and a total hypocritical bastard. So it makes sense that he likes Taylor.
Â
Incidentally, I really like the commentators on the Lakeside with Green being off.
-
Barney loses quite a bit of money and I think Wade loses quite a bit too because of his early knockout and last year's quarters run.
-
Taylor, Lewis, Wade and Anderson is the top 4 in the Order of Merit as it stands going into tonight.
Â
So that basically means both Lewis and Anderson have done enough to make it into the PL. Barney will probably get a spot.
-
Well, I did say if he dealt with it he'd end up running away with it. He's dealt with it and he's running away with it.
-
Not to say I told you so, but Jenkins piles on the pressure early and takes the first set. As I said, this was always going to happen and it's time to see how Gary Anderson deals with it.

Because Gabe, as we already knew, is a clueless walloper?
