Playing a lot of Super Stardust on PS3. The new Resistance update seemed a good idea with worldwide servers but the Americans seem quite offensive compared to European. May switch back to local servers. Also crapped myself as they enable voice chat to come through the TV speakers. Really didnt need folk screaming 'Take this Fag' through the TV. E3 next week~

Virtua Fighter 5 on PS3 is an absolute dream to play... will defo keep me entertained til Tekken 6 comes along

I really wasn't impressed by Virtua Fighter 5. Graphically, it's amazing and the gameplay is very smooth, but I was bored of it after a few days. Saying that, I've never been the biggest fighting game fan.At the minute, I'm in love with Tiger Woods PGA Tour '07 on the PS3, and still can't put down Pro Evolution Soccer 6 on the PS2.

I think the ESPN integration with that game is very classy and hopefully the signs of things to come. Gameface is bloody spooky.I've probably posted this before but if anyone on here is online with PS3 and fancies any games of resistance, motorstorm or anything else my PSN ID is mitch_uk_psn

Today on MGS2...I'm at the bit where it starts to go squiffy and tries to throw you off ("Turn off the console... NOW!"). I got Motorstorm today but the blinking PS3 wont be here till end of week so I guess I'll stick to playing Killzone on the PS2. Never really took notice of the game when it first came out, and I think I am enjoying it a lot as I didn't pay attention to all the hype.Been playing far too much Dr Robotniks Mean Bean Machine on the NGage with Mega Drive emulator. If I had a Wii I would probably be playing it on that too.

Saw a preview for A Guide to Recognising Your Saints. Robert Downey Jnr stars as an author called Dito who returns back home to New York for the first time since he was a teenager to see his ill dad.

 

The film is mostly told in flashback, showing how Dito grew up and what happened to mkae him flee New York. It's not a very happy film, but it is excellent. Some really powerful scenes using great editing to heighten the tension and confusion.

 

It's probably only going to get a limited release in the UK but there is a trailer up at myspace.com/agtrysuk

Me and my friend played it a lot tonight. We got to the church and hes already got thoughts that things are going a bit odd, and he was becoming very gripped with the mystery and wanted to find out more about the cultish activities. In some ways it was a lot like the original Broken Sword with the mysterious Templars and bizarre murders.
