ZST have announced Rock n Roll Express as part of their retro/Hasbro style line.Â
Chella have also just announced a Hasbro scale Matilda dog and a cape to go with heir dynamite, which will all be in scale with the Hasbro Bulldog too. -
Just learned about this just now. Sad news. RIP Jim.

You're welcome.
But seriously, I bet a fair few were asking about that once the Sabu figure was shown off. I might have to buy them both now.
Both from separate companies obviously, as Zombie are the ones bring out the Sabu (for those unaware).

It depends on what your idea of great news is. They haven't announced a roster, they've not brought back their weekly show, and they want ÂŁ15 for a PPV with no matches announced when it's 3 weeks away. That's shocking in my opinion. Why would I buy that?
The fact theyâre back and havenât ended is what I consider to be great news. Giving away their entire show for free on YouTube obviously wasnât the long term strategy, but was enough to rebuild the platform and following, and they did it brilliantly. Iâm more than happy to chuck ÂŁ15 at this PPV based on how much free, quality context theyâve given me over the last 2 years.Â
I also like the fact that I donât know who is on the card. Much like the first season of Powerrr, that element of mystique and surprise drew me in and made it fun. Iâve no reason to doubt that theyâll deliver and it would be daft to assume they donât have something special planned with more than their currently âconfirmedâ roster.

Well thatâs just great news. Personally very happy about them linking with Fite.

NWA youtube has deleted every single uploaded vid.
Hack, or takeover seem to be the suspicions.Â

Ahmed Johnson
I think itâs a fairly run of the mill shout, but he was tagging with Taker at one point, slammed Yoko, had a class feud with Nation, kids loved him, Vince was buzzing, he had a fun run as IC champ and for me, the stars were aligned for him to get bumped to main. The injury didnât help his cause and he faded away before pissing off to WCW.Â
He did well and in hindsight, I think his run with at IC was fair, but at the time, I thought I was watching the next top boy. -
Absolutely tragic. awful to hear about.
Heâs got a really young lad too, whose world will have collapsed. Itâs just really sad.I imagine Corgan and co will look out for & take care of him, canât comprehend what itâs like to lose a dad at that age, especially one who was apparently brilliant at being one.

My 4 year old doesnât really know what wrestling is, but she knows I like it. She has a few wrestling figures in her toy boxes that act as all sorts of different characters. She obviously still struggles to rationalise. As usual, weâve had great craic today.
her: Daddy, is he your favourite?
Me: What do you mean?
her: The wrestler next to the sandwichesÂ
me: Thatâs a security guard, weâre in Morrisonâs.
her: But heâs Snow Whites brother and he likes pizza and remember a long time ago, he put Micky Mouse in jail, with the Lego?
me: No sweetheart, that was King Mable.Â
Sheâs convinced that King Mable is a security guard at Morrisonâs.

Iâm running a competition on Twitter with Chella Toys for anyone who is interested. This particular comp is for the Blue Meanie 2-pack and the concept art to go with it. I had a chat with Meanie about the figure, his last figure and his involvement with the RetroMania game too. Iâll be announcing more comps with Chella in the near future, along with some other ânew figureâ comps from other teams.

I didn't even know that they did a mail away Hasbro promotion in the UK.
Yeah, there was a few. The silver vision video one, and the Bret/Hogan/Undertaker mailaway set from the magazines, the Hogans 1 & 2 that came with Silver Vision, then the bagged but not technically mailaway figures (Hogan & Savage that came bagged with a limited amount of rings, and the Warrior that came a small amount of catalogue rings).
Iâve owned and sold most of them, but never had the Undertaker mailaway or the ring Warrior. Regret selling them, but needs must.

It could be a great entrance theme for sure, but not for Kane. His initial theme will always be absolutely belting and the best one, to go with the best version of Kane.
The intro of that ToN track sounds more like something they wouldâve used for Umaga and the guitar riff is the kind of thing Iâd expect to here for a moody heel turn. Give it to Evil Crush.

The MizÂ
Annoying, pseudo reality star with an annoying presence, to an absolute diamond, with fantastic in ring quality and promos. He couldâve faded in to obscurity really quickly, but he put the graft in and became one of the best in the business.

Is Dan Fitch still running them? He didn't make himself too popular on here.
Ah really? I have no idea about his time on here to be honest, but I believe he is still running them yeah. The handful of times Iâve met him at events, heâs always come across well in fairness.

Same with MEW in the North East. Theyâve been going for 16 years now and were/are still getting approx 200+ people in, almost capacity at every show, full with families. The kids are all properly in to it, lots of noise, lots of chanting etc. Itâs great.

Fun day for announcements.
ZST announce the have the rights to release a Dino Bravo in Hasbro style.Â
Almost simultaneously, Chella Toys announce the have the rights to bring out a Dynamite Kid in Hasbro style.
Class day for the independent small businesses. Obviously Kid had a JAKKS classic figure, so no need for a Figures Toy Company clone in RA style. Iâm surprised they didnât attempt to make a Dino Bravo though.

I think that while cage fighting was still at a reasonable size in the mid-late 90âs, it hadnât reached its general popularity and cross over appeal. I think had Shamrock & Severn been around in the early 00âs, with the likes of Angle on top, Lesnar and co, that crossover could have really spiked. The only issue with that s that they were of that time, so in order for it to have worked, they wouldâve needed to be relevant in MMA in the early 00âs. They obviously were to an extent, but more as legends of the sport, rather than hot on the pulse.
Also, while I think it was still class at the time, I wonder how Bull Nakano, Hakushi/Shinzaki, Taka/Kaientai wouldâve faired over the past 3-4 years in WWE. Given the larger exposure Japanese wrestling has had over the past decade with the likes of NJPW World, the international appeal within the likes of NXT, how popular Japanese based stables have been for western fans, and obviously for Bull, the rise and quality of the womenâs division.Â
New wrestling figures!
