  1. He chose to end his gimmick and then brought it back meaning his word has no value. He has also chosen a subject matter that belongs in the Stone Age. So many better comedians out there who don't have to resort to his type of behaviour or can at least satirise it, which is not what he was doing. He's just realised he hasn't got the skills to do anything else so he's come back, when really he should go back under his rock.

  2.

on another note. has anyone heard anything about whether this is a co-produced show or just  pcw with ROH guys signed as independents ?

It's not really "co-produced" but PCW have worked with ROH to get the lads over, not just coincidentally booked a whole lot of them independently. Hence the ROH logo being on the propaganda. There's a working relationship, hence the Ciampa/Kirby TV title match appearing on ROH's Supercard Of Honor DVD.

Not the first time it's happened either, FWA and ROH did a show together about 11 years ago, Frontiers of Honour

My point isn't about where the fans are coming from, but where the promotion is going (or not as I anticipate).

Before turning up at that house he probably didn't know if the guy was 16 or 60, an invalid, a carer, a parent, the child of the house. It's just so fucking wrong.

And of course icing on the cake is posting the video online to further humiliate the guy/heighten his own reputation.

Really pathetic. I'd love this to be exposed as "a work", as it's the shits.

What would you have done if you were in his shoes?

Sent the guy an email, or maybe sent a letter to him as set out in my earlier post.

I wouldn't have turned up at someone's door like I was on my rounds collecting protection money.

    What would you have done?

Sent an e-mail but I'm not saying Fludder is in the wrong. Trouble with me is, I think long term. Long term, The kid would probably have ignored the e-mail (and laughed about it on social media no doubt!) and then the letter and then it would have gone to court and then he'd have a criminal record. Then I'd have the guilt of letting it drag on to the point where he was given the record and perhaps wondering..Well, if I'd confronted him at the start then maybe he'd still be able to get that job at Mcdonalds or Top Man or wherever?

Sadly, I think you might be even dumber than ClassicsGuy.

Sadly, I care as much about your opinion as you do about mine. Funny that! :p

  7. Thinking of heading up for the ROH weekender, As someone whos never been to PCW before what is the view like from standing? And what sort of time would i need to arrive to get a good spot?

Views from standing are pretty good all round unless you are vertically challenged, even when it's packed. Usually amble in close to Bell time and fine a decent spot, That's one thing with Evoque you wont struggle with

Get there nice and early and you should be fine.

  8. I'll be there too with Benny, Gadge, Windoesnot et al as usual. As for imports that are in the country and haven't already been mentioned yet, I believe RJ Brewer worked for Premier tonight, although I'm not sure how many people would actually know who he is.

Yup, RJ Brewer wrestled Zack Sabre Jr for Premier tonight and on Tuesday. Tonight was very good.

RJ Brewer once had a very good match with Martin Kirby in GPW under his previous identity, John Walters. Some of the locals might recognise him.

  9. It's kind of amazing that Chris Masters, Terry Funk, Vader and Rikishi are all appearing, yet there's no advertised matches for them ahead of time.

I'd like to see Masters vs Funk, and Vader vs Rikishi in singles matches, that would be fun.

Masters has never wrestled Funk, and Vader has only wrestled Rikishi once before, back when he was Fatu, on the April 22, 1996 WWF RAW.

I'd like to see Team Single versus Vader and Funk. It would be one hell of a brawl. Bubblegum having a go at the Masterlock Challenge would be fun as would Rikishi battling Dave Rayne.

  10. After the Q&A back at the venue (which was a typically well-run session, with some decent questions instead of the usual rubbish you tend to get at this type of thing)

OBJECTION, your honour! There was plenty of the usual "mumble mumble (random Scouse chirping) I think ... what do yous think about tha?" rubbish leaving the panel (and everyone else) in doubt as to a) who the question was for and b) what the question even was.

I was pleased with my own contribution and sly dig at our friend from Oberhausen, it was a marked improvement from my question at the Supershow weekend, when I might as well have just taken the mic and exclaimed "I want to make love to Chris Masters."

Hmm maybe but the recurring gag where someone said "You won't remember me but I remember you" and the talents reaction kept getting funnier as it went along..

  11. Cheers guys. Looks like I will be making my PCW debut soon :) I'm sure my wallet will regret me finding this out though!

What are they like for seating there. If you buy a GA ticket are you gauranteed a seat or is it best to get there early? Just that my Mrs has a few health issues and I'd prefer it if she didn't have to stand around for 4 hours!

Unless you go in as soon as the doors open there is no guarantee of a seat with GA as there are only a few bar stool seats that you can sit on and obviously these go quickly when people get inside. Otherwise its pretty much standing if you want a decent view of whats going on. All front and second row seats are sold out for the show on the 28th March too.

But then there are 2 massive screens in front of the bar recording and displaying the action as it progresses. My rule is, if you can't see what's going on in the ring, look at the screen. :)

  12. Natalya has always been a bit bland, a workhorse like her other half

She's never shown any evidence of this "workhorse" status, but she has people convinced that she is one, for the reasons that ShortOrderCook mentioned. Tyson Kidd is dull and boring as a character, but he's not total shit at wrestling like Natalya is, and it does him a disservice to even lump her in with him. At least Tyson Kidd lives up to his billing amongst Dem Wans. He's good at doing the movez~ and whatnot. Natalya has managed to maintain a similar reputation despite being demonstrably awful. Unless she's magically turned good in these NXT matches. But she was definitely crap before those tapings.

Seen a clip of one of her matches from I assume is last year where she puts the Sharpshooter on AJ and then AJ sells it but as soon as AJ begins tapping she lets go so AJ ends up tapping to nothing. This was live on RAW as well so quite the cockup. You would think that with her experience she would know not to let go of her hold. I've as good as written her off after seeing that.

  13. I like the fact that certain guys don't wrestle for a few weeks as it makes it a big deal when they appear.

Absolutely, takes me back to the old WWF Superstars years. Ooh Bossman is wrestling next week, must catch that. In WWE today we get everyone at least once a week. We're spoiled and the wrestlers are overexposed.

Indeed, it's one of the main reasons why I enjoy watching NXT over RAW and Smackdown. I think it would be very interesting if they applied the same approach to RAW, just to see if it made a difference to the ratings.

  14. I'd like to see Bryan join the Wyatt family as some sort of brain washed shit. It'd make some good backstage skits and that which RAW really lacks. There's not much to comment on RAW it was fairly vanilla throughout. My favourite moment being the few seconds Goldust interacted with the Guest Host. Reminds me of the skits back in 2002 Goldust used to do, which were all incredible.

On another note I've been really impressed with both Reigns and Rollins. I'd LOVE to see a Rollins Vs Mysterio feud resulted in some sort of match at the Rumble or TLC (No stipulation just a good PPV match not some shite thrown away to a dull RAW crowd).

Even cooler than that would be if it turned out that Kane had been brainwashed by the Wyatt Family and was really a sleeper agent.
