I finally found something out of this that makes me laugh.Upon telling my friend (19 years old) who is a massive WWE fan that Benoit had died for real and not fake like the McMahon storyline he replied..."I thought Vince's death was real?"

I'd go with that too. WWE went with a tribute show as they had very little time between getting the info to going on air. If they had the info they do now then I don't think we would have seen the same show.

Thing is, it couldn't have been say, Nancy poisoning the kid and then poisoning herself, Chris coming home, being distraught, and hanging himself in his weight room. If that was the case, it'd be two suicides and a murder - not two murders and a suicide.

Agreed.But how about Nancy killing their Son, Chris getting home and finding this, Killing nancy and then Hanging himself?As stated, we don't know the facts of the case yet and everyone is speculating.

The fact that three people are dead, two adults and a 7 year old child, and the police are not actively looking for anyone else to help them with their enquiries limits the situation to suicide, murder or accidental death.Given that:

it appears to rule out accidental death. So that leaves murder or suicide. A suicide pact is possible, but I can't for the life of me see a 7 year old willingly kill himself. Even if you have an open mind, the details so far are rather compelling.

It is unlikely but piecing together some of this. Benoit left for a family issue. It is alledged he heard that his wife and child were coughing up blood (however until now this is unsubstantiated). The police haven't ruled out poisoning. Is it possible that wife and child were poisoned for whatever reason and Benoit commited suicide later?Seems a possible if unlikely scenario but does blow out all this 'clear cut, he did it' stuff.

Unless the autopsy reports show a clear time difference between the three deaths and these 'instruments' are conclusive, we might NEVER know the full extent of the truth. Someone could have been having an affair or anything like that which this may now never come to light. It is still possible Nancy was killed in a fight (accidentally) and to protect himself and his son from the shame, Chris killed Daniel then himself. Obviously this is not right but it is a possible situation. A lot depends on the order of Death. If it was Nancy, Daniel, then Chris who has apparently hung himself it does not look good. Either way it looks like Chris could have killed his son, if Nancy died on Saturday.

We are only 15 mins away so it won't be long till we find out. If the fans had been denied entry to the arena I think it would have been common knowledge by now to be honest.

We don't know at this point if it never happened because Benoit was dead. It is still very possible he didn't pas away until this morning.

I'm beginning to think the very same.

Just can't get over the fact that all the wrestlers in the WWE were gathering for a fake memorial on RAW tonight and they are now attending a real one. That is so sad!!

The WWE would have had no choice but to do a tribute show tonight. They had a memorial night planned for a fake storyline death. They will be throwing things together just now as we speak. Talking heads, video clips of Benoit, as well as tribute matches I think.

Daniel was their only child together. He was about seven years old. Says one friend: "Chris and Nancy were known to have a volatile relationship, but their son was the saving grace for both of them."

I'm gonna be a real asshole and call shenanigans on this. If it comes back and hits me in the face then fine but at the moment I don't believe this.

It certainly sounds like some kind of poisoning but if you're wife and child was spitting up blood you would get them to a hospital asap wouldn't you. Is it possible Chris and his family have been dead for a couple of days already and it is just coming out now?

I'd like to be proved wrong but right now I just can't see Vince McMahon appearing on TV and scrapping the recent storyline. This is the WWE. Look how quickly they filled Orton's mouth with uttterly reprehensible comments about Eddie. The Vince storyline will either be quietly scrapped or worse still put on the back burner for a few weeks. I hope not, but I fear that is what will happen.

Totally, totally, stunned. There is so many different things that could have happened. The family emergency and the deaths could be some horrible coincidence. The loss of life could be at the hands of an accident which has been mentioned before. Regardless of how great a wrestler he was this is a tragic loss for any family. Prayers to the members of the family who will have to deal with such terrible loss.

We had 'Unified', 'Anarchy in the UK', 'Fifth Year Festival' (night one in Liverpool) and the last night in Liverpool I believe is known as 'Fifth Year Festival: Finale'. I'm not too sure about the shows done in conjunction with FWA. Possibly 'Frontiers of Honor'?

IIRC Impact is on a two day delay (shown on Sat) and PPVs are three (shown on Wednesday).

I was thinking about this recently. I always thought Vader wore it due to his name and the certain famous Sci Fi character who shares it also wearing one. If I remember he wore it in WCW and Japan and he used to sit it in the ring and smoke would blast out of it. Im 99% sure he NEVER wore it in the WWF but maybe someone can clarify that???
