That was definitely one of my worries. I thought fucking hell if that's episode 4 I dread to think what the rest of it is like. It goes quite against conventional storytelling in some ways. But makes complete sense as it's very much about what comes after too. It's all intertwined. It's definitely worth finishing. I still feel quite bleak after it to be honest but it's a story that deserves finishing.

How yer man acted all that out after going through it the first time i’ll never know.

  2. I was very surprised to hear, for some reason, that Bobby Heenan liked a puff and seemingly preferred it to the booze.

I was even more surprised to find out that Bobby had been once arrested for possessing nearly 50g of weed in 1991 at an airport.

Hacksaw Duggan was a big pothead by all accounts, at least back in the. 80’s .

Jim Ross mentioned his J smoking in long car rides quite a bit in his book also. He talked about rolling joints for Bill Watts whilst Jim was driving.

Bret Hart , to be fair you could predict Bret alright. Definitely the type to take the vibe down a notch..

Bruce Pritchard has mentioned on his podcast that he preferred smoking in his hotel room to drinking in the bar.

Rey Mysterio - it does terrify me to wonder if Rey may possibly have had some of his best matches and done some of his most crazy spots whilst stoned.

Jerry Brisco also liked a smoke seemingly

Ric Flair… in the cannabis business.

Val Venis. Is surely now more of an example of why weed shouldn’t be legal. I don’t think he is the better for how much he smokes, he is gone full raving looney isn’t he ?

Any other people that would’t expect to be weed smokers?

    Tom Scott video?

Did you know that Barry Scott of Cillet Bang fame is a fictional character and was played in an intentionally naff fashion in order to people talking.

I'm a couple of episodes behind but it's always entertaining. Pure chaos. I love how I forget the happier couples are even there because they barely get any screen time. Jack has such a punchable smirk. Sadly he has played Tori so well. Tim is deeply self loathing and unhinged. Just saw Ben be an absolute twat. So much drama everywhere and not even from who I thought. I had Lauren down as the most annoying one at the start. And then the new frat boy. But they've been surprisingly alright.

My Mrs has a theory that Jack and Tori have no legit interest in being a couple and are just purely on the show for the fee. It does kinda make sense when you look at it that way..

The producers seem to have cast people with legit mental problems (Madeleine) and at least two closeted homosexuals (Collins and Tristan) .

  5. Yeah i guess my thinking is that by 97 he was both an odd fit for the lightweight division and his act had become slightly passé/dated.

If he had shown up in the WWF in late 93 instead of Jarrrett and was given a few IC title runs ,not necessarily given the singing gimmick, i think he would have done way way better.

Brian Christopher getting brought into the Lawler Vs Bret Hart feud could have been great.

If you like random footballers appearing in Hollywood movies, ex Scotland manager Alex McLeish is in Stan & Ollie.

And don’t get me started on Escape To Victory.

My wife casually dropped into conversation one day that her sister’s father in law was a former  professional footballer and that he had a part in “some film”…

Only bloody “Escape to Victory “

Try planking daily mate. Start with whatever you can do, and build up. I don't know where you're back pain is but most people get it in the lower back, planking literally strengthens the whole area of the lower back where its common to get pain.

Working a lot on hips and mobility aswell can alleviate back pain.

Keep it moving as much as you can aswell with back pain, funnily enough one of the worst things you can do is sit and not do much.

Do you know what, this is great advice.

Thanks. Sometimes just seeing things written down helps. Just a standard plank or side planks too ?

  8. Was regularly hurting/straining my back last year lifting my baby daughter in/out of her car seat. Did a few weeks of a movement course and was feeling 100% . Started back swimming in Jan and was up to 1.5km and ……….fucked my back again with the fucking car seat..

So frustrating, cant so anything strenuous now for a month and can see my progress whittle away and the pounds slowly re-appear.

Just felt like a bit of a moan/rant…

  9. Say whatever you will but the pop at the end of the Summerslam 1991 match against Ted DiBiase was gigantic.

Not too many people in the world will ever get to experience such a moment.

    RIP Virgil.
