    My wife wanted to watch this and like all Harlan Coben adaptations, it's absolute turgid dogshit, but in a enjoyable, trashy way. It's proper TV for thick people. You could easily skip an episode and not get lost as every character seems to recap the entire storyline during every conversation they have. At one point the main character gets a phone call and the name on the phone says "sister-in-law" because the viewer can't be trusted to remember names. She phones Joanna Lumley's character later on and her caller ID photo on her phone is her press shot for the show.

    It's surprisingly watchable considering the writers lack of subtlety and hand holding throughout the whole thing.

    I’ve enjoyed the other HC stuff I’ve watched but this is a struggle to be honest.
    It’s one of those shows where the lead character isn’t particularly likeable and it’s hard to feel any sympathy for her or even just want her to succeed.

     

    In fact none of the characters are particularly likeable or even convincing. Some of the editing is terrible also. The plot is quite nonsensical really. Her taking down some fully grown with relative ease is complete bollocks too. 


    I’m only on episode 4 and i hate not seeing things through so this could be a struggle .

    i know someone who has a very pleasing voice, good annunciation , pronunciation and all that… Long story short i think they could potentially get work as a voice actor  …

     

    Anybody know how you go about getting into that business or line of work ?

    Green Day have released a third single off their new album called “Dilemma “. If you like Green Day then you’ll probably like it, if not then it wont win you over..

     

    The chorus reminds me of “is she really going out with him” by joe jackson.

    Cedric Bixler-Zavala from the band at the drive in is a big fan, or at least of old time wrestling. He used to post a good few wrestler clips on his instagram.

     

    So you have 

    Adam Jones of Tool. Billy Corgan of the Smashing pumpkins. Danzig. Lars Frederiksen from Rancid. Cedric Bixler-Zavala from at the drive in. The mountain goats. Of course the ICP. Rick Rubin. Thats some credible names .

    It’s fine man. A person i know made the counter point that the place they were going “up” to (even though it was south) was physically higher in terms of altitude, which I begrudgingly had to accept.

    I find it hard to follow simple directions or instructions.  if you give me complex instructions i can nearly follow them better. 

    Stuff “Move that there like this” is like Chinese to me. 
     

    My dad, when teaching me to drive would say things like “follow that car into that lane” and i would be like what car, the red one, the green one or the white one ?

    Our landlord was over the other night and he moved our washing machine out and couldnt get it back in. I was trying and he was roaring at me to “heel it in”

    I didnt know what the fuck he meant. 

     

    People who say i am going “up” to a location that’s physically south of them on a map absolutely genuinely confuses the life out of me.

    Speaking of PCO, the spot where he had his mouth stapled shut - sick, visually violent, must have hurt like shit, but barely mentioned since!

    Huge/Dangerous spots that barely make any news. 
     

    I see there was a TNA (Impact ) PPV recently were PCO took a bump onto a concrete slab that had thumbtacks on it.

     

    Firstly there it barely made any news , like i came across it by chance . I was wondering what are some of the more crazy/insane spots in recent years that are completely forgotten about ?

    Secondly, is PCO not in complete shit from a physical point of view, the man must be aching every minute of every day. I cant believe he is still going.

    I dont get how ;

    Hamas could claim a hospital has been bombed and at least 500 people are dead.

    Israeli journalists theb say it was bombed by the IDF

    Israel’s presiden then publicly claimed that it was bombed but it wasn’t them

    And then the OSINT guys say there was a blast and there was minimal damage and casualties.

     

     

    What am i missing here ?
