Its mad that both sequels came out around the same year, right?Â

I don’t wear my wrestling shirts outside of shows anymore because of fear of random wrestling fans spotting and starting to talk to me which has happened too often for my liking. It’s like they can’t control their excitement at spotting another fan “in the wild.” It’s usually over-excited babble over something I don’t watch or how the guy who just went on second-last on the PPV would be doing better but “Vince doesn’t like him.” Simply doesn’t happen with shirts about films, TV shows, bands, comic franchises etc. Avoid.
I wear my shirts out, if a fan sees me and tries to speak to me, I just completely blank them. Yeah I'm a rude prick.

I had a mini heart attack because i thought the old fart was returning.

This could be fun

I'm sure that's exactly what they thought too.. not that they would go out and put on a great match it was all about bret getting one over on Shawn somehow.. your point is bordering on ridiculous
Alright Paul, calm downÂ

It was a solid show.
Eddie & Miro was a fun brawl. There's also something there to let them do a rematch if they wanted to.Â
Moxley & Kojima was good. I marked out when MiSu turned up. That'll be fun to watch on Dynamite.
There were a few dull moments early on in the Battle Royal, but it happens in those kinds of matches sometimes. I can't see Ruby beating Britt, but it'll be a decent match. I'd like to see her against Thunder Rosa in a proper match.
The cage match was a heck of a spectacle, but not the kind of wrestling i tend to enjoy.
I enjoyed Punk & Darby. Wight Vs Marshall was what it was. Presumably he'll go after Billy Gunn and his clones next.
MJF with the bait and switch entrance was fun. I understood the whole thing with his back injury during the match, but is he now the only person Jericho has beaten without needing to use the Judas Effect? Does it not make him look a bit weak?Â
The title match was alright, but I just never thought Christian had a chance of winning it. Them pivoting from what we thought was Page's big moment to this was a let down.Â
Danielson Vs Cole at Full Gear? It was a loaded finish to the show, but as was mentioned elsewhere that's a LOT of ex WWE guys. It could be good if it doesn't turn into late 90s WCW. Time will tell.Â
Its really nowt like late 90's WCW. Even if it was, give me that over the tripe WWE is putting out every Monday.

Punk in the crap tights was an odd choice on his part, but match was better than I expected. Delighted Bryan is there too, don't give a shite about Cole in all honesty and him debuting directly before Bryan and diminishing his pop was a bit annoying. Could've debuted Cole on Dynamite/Rampage and it would've felt bigger and more unexpected and not took anything from Bryan's arrival.
Still, very good show and AEW definitely have serious momentum now. Interesting to see how mad Vince reacts.
You can think Cole is shite but they did the right thing debuting him there in Chicago. Hear the pop he got?Â
Â
And Vince won't react. He doesn't care.

They made me care about Cole which is a fucking miracle.Â

I know he's not been gone for ten years like Punk was, but it's mental to think Bryan Danielson could show up tonight and to be honest there's not really a huge amount of discussion or excitement for it from what I've seen, because everyone's still so knackered from their last big debut.Â
It's such a bizarre time.
That and Punk has literally come back to wrestling. Bryan debuting while huge, isn't as mental as that.

Got seasick reading the first post, but Alex Riley is a rare example of someone who was less over than his music.Â
Hey would you say that to his face?

Paddy peaked with Max and Paddy. Been downhill since.Â

Gutted to hear this.Â

Lets just get Little Britain and Come Fly with Me Out of the way.
Â
Bad Girls hasn't aged well, from what I watched last night. Brainiac was also super problematic in how it treated the female section. Loved it as a kid though.
Â
Any others?

There were Leisure Suit Larry games released last year and this year. The series isn’t dead, just shit.
Jesus. Never thought they would be able to. yeah they always were.

Punks going to win the world title soon as he’s in a program for it. Mjf claiming he’s going to retire him like he did y2j gives him a reason.Â
Punk is feuding with Omega? News to me.
-
Both. Its quite confusing at first, but I played with randoms yesterday. On PS5. Honestly annoyed me, Not the game but the guy, kept burning me with the flame thrower. No mic support either, so that's a bit shit. But its good time. Its Alien mixed with L4D.
-
He can feud with MJF, Infact, I think we all can agree, that'd be mega. But not to retire Punk. That's an awful idea.
-
The man's just come back. Let him settle in before we talk about fucking retirement. Christ,

as sad as I am for Zelina. She went back after being fired for her beliefs. Not like AEW wouldn't have taken her. She's made her bed.
