Hi . Sorry meant , my last two shops were a success and one was from scratch. 
 

I am using OUTCAST PRO WRESTLING and Matt jackson has been a great help and has the same passion I have. They have been putting on shows for a few years and more importantly have a very loyal fan base as they make sure the fans go home happy. 
 

we also have , like I said some great experience from other promotions to help us add to the show, 

I’m not trying to hide anything, just going to reveal the wrestlers one by one over social media but get why you guys want to know. 
 

I do really need you’re support guys as although my target market is the local towns and cities , I would love for the British wrestling fans to come along to our first show. 
 

I can see why so many would have failed, the stage or PA costs are extremely expensive so we had to be really careful as some quotes were triple what I have got in the first instance. 
 

I am even offering 2 free beers when you arrive in a CXW T-shirt which are coming soon. 

I don’t know how to paste an image so T-shirt image is latest post on our fans page which is very small as it’s a week old so please join us if you don’t mind . I want some good banter in their if we can and you guys are bringing that in here .

hope I’m not drumming on but more importantly I am trying to get you guys to come along and help us not be like the other promotions that have been one hit wonders as I’ll have to turn it into a payable dogging site to cater to all the nonces!!

I am listening and understand peoples concerns and negativity. 
 

it’s a big project and could fall flat on its face but we can all but try. Doubt killed more dreams than failure as they say. 
 

we have a great outside event booked with potential of many people, we need to sell quite a lot of tickets for it too work but I have experience is organising and selling a few successful festivals in the past. 
 

the wrestling side is all new to me but that’s why I have some experienced wrestlers and promoter to help me along the way. 
 

all I ask is, if you are interested and love wrestling please come along, i understand people’s concerns or thinking I am a Barry big bollox but we are being very careful in terms of what and how we are doing things in terms of the wrestling show. I have chosen performers ive seen wrestle together in the past and have great chemistry as I need you guys to want to come back to show 2.

I am taking everything on board and understand most independent shows are lucky to have 75-100 paying guests. We have got our license to allow us to sell face to face and door to door moving forward which is something that no one else does, we are going to be offering or music or activities alongside the wrestling on the night to welcome new or old school fans back to wrestling. 
 

I was expecting a lot of bad press or sceptical people as it’s very easy to set up a promotion and book a card. The hard bit is putting a successful and busy show to use as a platform moving forward. My aim is to build relationships and trust with wrestlers but my main aim to get the respect from current fans to want to come again and again. 
 

I made the mistake saying ‘1500’ fans but the site and car park allows this as it’s outside, I am hoping for 500 paying guests. We will then move to an indoor venue later in the year as the covid rules are far less relaxed until 21st June. Our door events are in may so we have bought ourselves 5 weeks . It is a risk but I do believe it will pay off as I’m sure you’re all hungry to be part of a passionate wrestling crowd again. 
 

many people will say it will fail etc just like my two previous roles but hard work and determination does pay off . I am a sponge of knowledge and taking all points on board. 
just hope we can prove to you in time what CXW will all about.

I wish I’d have been able to convince the poor chap who had similar dreams back in 2001 in Harlow. He was aiming for 750 fans and had a card stacked higher than any show I’d seen in years. He promoted the show well, had loads of “interest” and ended up putting on a show to 16 paying fans. I was one of the more kinder folk trying to calm him down as he broke into tears, whilst many of the wrestlers were lining up to get their money that he clearly didn’t have to give them.

It’s great to dream, and I would never want to crush anyone’s dreams, but there comes a time when you feel a need to do the right thing and tell someone to stop.

The area is okay for for up to 1500 fans, I have an extensive background in sales and marketing and will be using this to sell tickets face 2 face, town 2 town. 
 

we are using a current promotion to host the show plus 12 experienced wrestlers and will be working closely over the next few months to put on a show good enough for you to come back in September.  
 

the event is almost organised in terms of costs, insurances and polices. (Covid testing maybe required which is why the individual tickets are not up for sale just yet) 
 

we have taken a step back with the football now not being shown after event so we are finding an alternative entertainment to make sure the whole family enjoys the night out. 
(Live music) 

  we will have sausage for everyone involved and some hot and sweaty grapple for all.  
 

please don’t worry about my finances but there will be 250 friends and family  coming alone, we also have 12 group bookings through work doos  too before we even have tickets on sale at individual prices. 
 

I don’t expect 1500 fans but wanted someone to actually look at my post, we would be happy with 500 but am aiming for 1000 as we are nearly at the target. 
 

if 16 do turn up? Well we have so much sausage , no one will leave alive. 
 

Individual tickets on sale soon and hope you can make it , just don’t bring any cold water as we will have beer and cider available! 
 

the real test tho, will be the second show when family and friends don’t like wrestling so will be scaling down but promoting earlier and expanding our sales area around the second city.

we are trying to do all we can to make it a safe and memorable show. We are using a current promotion and wrestlers who have been on the scene many years to make sure we put on a great show. 
I have sold some shares in my bike shop And my partner has fallen sick so means this is now my full time project moving forward , she is waiting for a operation at the end of April.  
 

any advice is welcome and please give me a call if you would like to discuss further any concerns or queries you have. I am not on here to upset anyone and we will do what we can to be a force moving forward using my sales background to make the houses as big as possible.

looks like events will happen from end of May and the covid test isn’t confirmed but if it is, it looks like it’s £7.95 per person at moment which looks to come down. 
 

understand everyone’s points but there are plenty of people who want to restart their social lives and crave a night out. 
 

we cannot believe the enquires we have had so far and will be pushing it through as long as it’s allowed. 
 

the ticket would be £18 inc parking and the live  football on after at £2.25 a beer!! 
 

all outside events will be the same rules so it would be your choice to not to bother but a lot will bother as it’s been far too long.

we would send kits out if possible. Home kits are available and hoping they could be acceptable if time and date is within hour of show time. 
 

if not , it may be a case of testing in cars and then once negative too come into the show . 

it’s an outside event too so we are waiting on what the guidelines will be. 
 

we are going to do all we can to put the show on and in a safe manner. 

And don’t worry, you don’t sound like a dick, it’s a concern for so many and we will do all we can to keep everyone safe and to have the best night of our lives 

we also may need to half our attendance to 750, even still , it promises to be an atmosphere that will be unmatched!

There’s a good chance it will happen with the new covid Test that takes 15 minutes. 
 

we are looking at costs and so far it’s £8.95 per person which means it would need to be added to the cost of ticket, we are hoping to send kits out to then be tested on the way to the show. 
 

we are going to push ahead and if we do need to postpone, at least some people know about us already. 
 

let’s see the pathway next week but we will do what we can to bring you some Live Professional wrestling in an outside event.

After 15 years in the motor trade, I have had to give up my full time job to concentrate on my partners health. We are waiting for an operation for her and this could be months away due to covid. My passion and dream is to be in the wrestling business so I am creating a few shows with the help from some very good people who are already doing this.  I have decided to create my very own brand as I want to move forward over the next few years and become a major force in the UK wrestling scene by using my very own skill set to enhance ticket sales and create the best night out, if you’re a wrestling fan or not, who doesn’t like live music, fireworks, beer, wines and sprits and the best atmosphere you will get. Early days, but the events should start this summer. The Time will come and I will promise the best night out in the world!!
