this is an a5 flyer we are giving to people on our face 2 face sales chats 

I  wanted to show all the talent on one shot , it’s really clear in person but yes it’s a bit too much as a poster, to much going on and not bold enough as a poster. 

main poster hasn’t been designed yet but we using a different format and will be a3 size .

We started today and got 6 sales out and about in village after a few hours( was putting our event poster up in local shops/places) 

We will be attending university and colleges next few weeks as well superstores and high streets at weekends. 

people buy from people is my only tactic in terms of pitching, if you’re nice , no one tell you to piss off  , i also found that today, they wanted something in their diary to look forward too and 4 people who signed up today haven’t ever seen wrestling live, just on tv years and years ago so I’m hoping we can get some fresh meat through the door. 

lonnnnng way to go so head down and get this show sold sold sold .

Thanks for the interest and CXW hope you can make our first show, by the sounds of it, we haven’t won any of you over which is a Shame but all we can do is carry on working hard and learning fast.

I notice there isn't a single one-on-one match on the card, every match has a gimmick, why not build to the grudge between the two performers for a subsequent show down the line?

I also don't see the point of two Battle Royals.  Surely you could just have one 15 man Battle Royal with the final two participants then meeting for the title in the main event?  I am guessing that some people will be doing double duty and wrestling in other matches, but you will be paying some people just to wrestle in a Battle Royal, its a needless expense.  Plus, if people are drawn to come to your show to see the Battle Royal, a second one will not draw any additional spectators.

There’s an explanation of the grudge when matches were announced. 
 

we will also have the ring announcer state this when opening the match

the grudge match is between two performers who have had 3 matches around the country already . 

No offence taken, appreciate your concern but we have a budget and we are within that.

Our outdoor event was cancelled with Braintree council as they are now not doing any 2021 events due to uncertainties and booking the date so close to lockdown end. 
 

we couldn’t confirm a date with them until 2022 so we have moved the event to charter hall on September 11th 2021 , again we couldn’t do it any sooner due to the nervousness of the venue. 
 

The capacity is only 600 but we are still hoping for one hell of a night at charter hall Colchester. 
 

we want a full house and will be hard as other promotions have warned me about the low ticket uptake in previous years but we will do what we can to prove to the wrestling world we mean business.

6 matches been revealed so far, title belt be revealed in a few weeks and we are well on our way with the ticket sales which I’m really pleased with as we haven’t started selling face 2 face yet. 
 

hope you guys can make it , no dogging(unless we get desperate for ticket sales) 

I understand people’s views but we have the passion, funding and sales expertise to make this work . 
 

show 2 won’t be booked until lockdown is fully over as it’s been such a pain having to cancel the first show and re jiggle marketing and performers etc .

to be fair he was trying to look after one of his guys and I understand . What didn’t help is the local council hasn’t forwarded the events planned due to covid. 
 

I have spoken in private message and if I was looking after Anyone I had worked with before I would of done the same. 
 

I also get everyone being so skeptical as so many have failed so all I can say is , time will tell and am going to do all l can to make this work!

they called me today, the great notley park team do not take bookings or control the events planner and all events our not on due to covid. 
 

it’s caused a lot of confusion with them but I really don’t know why people are trying to discredit our show!

To amplify what some other people have said. I very much doubt you will get 1,500, or even 750, paying fans to attend. There's established promotions up and down the country that don't do those kind of numbers, what makes you think you can do any better with your first show?

we are face 2 face selling and door 2 door sales full time which no other promotion has done. 
 

we have a marketing company who will knock on doors, I will also be selling in retail complexes with a former employer across 3 superstores in the town. 
 

I have also worked door 2 door sales for 4 years with great success selling medical insurance, phone contracts, tea towels , you name it I’ve done it . I can capture people imagination, use my passion and we will try and offer other entertainment on each show to keep everyone in the family happy . 
 

we will use world of sport glory days and hulk hogan golden era as a great sales pitch as many remember it so fondly and a family ticket is £30 (parking at this site is normally £3 for an hour alone) of 4 and beers from £2 etc . 
 

we are also using my best friend who has cooked so many sausages/burgers at festivals and will make sure they mega value so we will push the value we will provide and get newcomers coming to the show . 
 

I would just love existing fan base to come, we are only using experienced and trained athletes who have wrestled all over the country and beyond to cater for the wrestling fan , we don’t want a half arsed show for the kids , we want drama, high flying moves and a story throughout  each match. 
 

we are going to push this from town to town as we said , we are going to be reaching that public and unearthed ‘casual fan’ and some that haven’t seen it since the 80s . 
 

big Ask and won’t be easy , so I’m hoping some of you can come from this forum as it’s great and very active having spent a few weeks looking at previous posts. 
 

I get you're skeptical, let’s give us a chance.
