That carrying aaa rechargeable batteries in the same pocket as your keys is a bad idea. Was doing some work on the drive this eve so had my head torch on the light dimmed so I put on my replacement head touch and took out the batteries from the first and put them in my pocket to remind myself to charge them later. About 10 minutes later the side of my leg was warm, seems they had a chemical reaction with my keys and heated I was lucky to realise so soon, story's online of people with serious lifetime burns. Beware fellow UKFF's

I'm purely a non-fiction reader.If there's something I want to Learn more about ill pick up a 'For dummies' on it. I read a quote a few years ago it went something like this " if you read 3 books in a certain subject you become a master on that subject and have a 99% advantage over anyone else in that field" because people don't really read books anymore.

My current read is US history for dummies.

Does anyone know if sabu will be scheduled to wrestle at ICW again anytime soon. Sabu is one off my all time favourite wrestlers and ICW is my favourite uk wrestling promoting. I'm from Yorkshire and want to go up to Glasgow for a few nights when they have a big show on like fear & loathing or square go but wouldn't want sabu to be announced for a later fight club taping or something like that. To me seeing sabu wrestling for ICW at a fight club taping would be bigger than seeing fear and loathing. So if I knew if sabu was definitely going to return I'll wait until he does or if anyone knew he definitely wouldn't wrestle for ICW again I know I can just make a trip to the next big event. 

I would go go twice but if it ends up being in the same year it's getting costly just 7 days into 2019 and I have for the love of wrestling weekend and the NJPW London show (which I'll stay over for).

We had both those situations here, a heel having the opportunity to leave but deciding not to, and a face trying to escape.  And then you always get those awkward bits when they're holding each other up on the top rope or on the top of the cage, and it's really fake.

The rule should be - win by pinball or submission.  If you climb out or leave via the door, you LOSE. 

Anyway, the match was... ok, but if I'm honest I'm a bit bored of these three in the main event now.  2019 needs to be the Year of the Dream in NXT. 

I think you should look at each individual match on a case by case basis. If you look at royal rumble 2012 the triple threat cage match between Big Show, Mark Henry and Daniel Bryan, I think the escape option works really well as the idea behind that particular match was it'll be Bryan against two monsters "how's he gonna do it" and I vividly remember the last moment of the match big show grabbing Bryan as he's daggleing out of the cage only for the lactic acid to build up and drops Bryan making him the winner. I agree with you on the sence it can makes things difficult look at Greatest Royal Rumble reigns v lesnar. That botched finish.

A hidden gem cage match I liked with the escape option was no way out 2005 JBL V BIG SHOW barbed wire at the top of the cage.

So in the idealistic principle a modern cage match may sound silly however I guess the change just comes with the evolution of pro wrestling.

Posting as I can't seem to find anywhere talking about how similar sounding Too $hort - only dimes is and Ariana Grande - Thank u next are. Both in my opinion are good but it's driving me mad not finding anyone else that thinks the songs instrumentals are similar. As they both came out at a similar time doubt it would be a case of who sampled who first (or if they was an original sample they both used) like Geto boys - mind playing tricks on me and Kodak black - Transporting both sampling the late great Isaac Hayes. Or just might be a gargantuan coincidence. Anyway my thoughts are shared.

If you watch the raw on 11/3/2002 Hulk,Nash and hall take on the Rock and Austin in a handicap match. It's not long however Austin and Hogan share the same ring.

I know we didn't get the singles match at mania or at any other time but you have to look at what we did get.

I may get a bit of heat from ultras for this however I found yesterday's event at the ritz a bit disappointing. Trent's open challenge v Dan Maloney was brill that suplex from Trent on the ring apron was a very hard bump and so was Haskins and Dennis tag against do not resuscitate. But besides from that I found the show quite repetitive in its delivery very samey, like the past few chapters could have all been interchangeable with no chronological storyline it's like go out, do a semi decent match, fuck off, next wrestlers. That was the show and the past few chapters. My first show was Sheffield earlier in the year and massively enjoyed it. I subscribed to demand progress later watched Wembley which was good and last months show at the ritz on demand progress but found this chapter (80) and 79 samey

Dont know what my stance on progress will be continuing might do what others have suggested book tix and if the card doesn't take your fancy put em on twickets or whatever it's called.

Anyway what are everyone else's thoughts on Chapter 80 Gods and monsters
